4 Eco Server Park Falun, Sweden OWNER Falu Energi & Vatten AB a multi-utility company owned by Falu Municipality LOCATION Falun, Dalarna county. Coordinates Lat: Lon: (WGS 84) SITE CHARACTERISTICS CLIMATE POWER CONNECTIVITY COOLING Greenfield, undeveloped land, The site has excellent ground conditions and is zoned for industrial use. Total area 200,000 m², buildable area 70,000 m² Average annual temperature 5 C. Average number of days per year with max temperature >25 C is 22 days. Power ready. Transformer in place. Load to site 16 MW, 10 kv Load to site 16 MW within 3 months of order. Redundant 11 MW from existing 10 kv Grid. Maximum expandable load to site 100 MW. Redundant dark fiber < 200 m from site. Fiber provider is Falu Elnät AB (subsidary of Falu Energi & Vatten AB). There are also other fiber providers in the area for redundancy. District Cooling, 6 C Free cooling October to April. From May to September, absorption cooling machines cooling based on biomass and contributes to basis for the production of renewable electricity. HEATING & HEAT RECOVERY The surplus heat from the server center can be recovered for the district heating network. ELECTRICITY COST EFFICENCY The site is supplied with renewable electricity. Area for Solar Power production is available close to site. Through the proximity of infrastructure and the possibility to heat recovery the investments, maintenance and operations cost will be lower than average.
