Guided Turs Visitrs can experience the Center s features during scheduled guided turs. Registratin is required t attend Center events. Register nline at: Using the Center - Event Plicies External grups may reserve space at the Center fr their wn events. Reservatin requests will be granted based n availability and the cnditins described belw. Wrkfrce Educatin & Training Curriculum WE&T seminars, wrkshps, technlgy demnstratins and ther events are the Center s first pririty. Remaining available times n the Center s calendar after WE&T events are scheduled may be reserved by external grups. Requests made by external grups may be tendered within 90 days f an event date. The Center s calendar mre than 90 days ut int the future is reserved fr WE&T events. Ratepayer Funded Prgrams Ratepayer funded prgrams such as Califrnia Slar Initiative (CSI), Califrnia Slar Initiative Thermal (CSI-T), Slar Water Heating (SWH), Whle Huse Upgrade Prgram (WHUP), Self-Generatin Incentive Prgram (SGIP), etc. are subject t a special scheduling prcedure. External grups that administer these prgrams must submit calendar requests t the Center at least 90 days in advance. Upn request, scheduled trainings fr these prgrams will be included n bth the Center s printed and nline calendars. Additinal details regarding the scheduling prcedure fr ratepayer-funded prgrams may be btained by cntacting the Energy Innvatin Center. Meetings and Events Cmmunity rganizatins, gvernment agencies, ecnmic develpment grups, and industry assciatins can als bk their meeting r special event at the Center. Fr these rganizatins: Events that directly supprt the missin f the Center may be bked up t 90 days in advance. Events utside the missin f the Center may be bked a maximum f 30 days in advance. Nn missin related events may request a reservatin n Mndays and Fridays. Review and apprval are still required as space is limited.

3 Recurring meeting requests will nt be granted; if multiple events are requested, each ccurrence will be treated as a separate event request. Fr dcumentatin purpses, a cpy f the event attendee list (including attendee s name, rganizatin, phne number & address) will be required. Pririty preference will be granted t Califrnia Public Utilities Cmmissin and Califrnia Energy Cmmissin events regardless f tpic. The Center may nt be used fr any prfit-making venture r event. Events are subject t all applicable Center plicies and prcedures. T determine if yur event supprts the Center s missin, refer t the Missin statement at the beginning f this dcument. A quick way t tell if yur event supprts the Missin is if yur event fcuses n ne r mre f the fllwing tpics: Energy Efficiency/WE&T Renewables Climate Change Demand Respnse Water Cnservatin K-12 Energy Efficiency Educatin & Green Career Awareness Using the Center - Event Reservatin T bk yur event at the Center, a cmpleted Event Request Frm t EICReservatins@semprautilities.cm r E-fax: The Event Request Frm is available nline at: The Center endeavrs t respnd t all event requests within 48 hurs. A cnfirmatin f yur reservatin will be sent via , and event details will be crdinated frm there. Please ensure that the address prvided n the Event Request Frm is crrect. When necessary, the Center may need t mve an event t a different rm within the facility. The event cntact will be ntified as sn as pssible if there is a change in the reservatin. Catering and Beverage Service The Center ffers a Hydratin Statin fr individuals t fill their reusable water bttles. Nte: Events/meetings lasting lnger than 2 hurs, with ver 20 attendees, are required t rder water service frm an apprved caterer. Fd and Beverage Service The event cntact is respnsible fr making all catering arrangements including fd and beverage service. Beverages such as water, cffee, juice and thers are nt prvided by the Center, and must be rdered thrugh the Center s preferred caterers.

4 The Center allws alchl t be served fr special events, as lng as it is prvided by ne f the Center s preferred caterers. If yu are interested in serving alchl at an event, yu must make a request in writing t receive apprval. Preferred Caterers Fd and beverage service must be prvided by the Center s preferred caterers. A cancellatin, decrease in rder, change in menu selectin, r change in rder will be subject t the plicies f the selected caterer. Visit ur website fr a selectin f available catering and menu s. Additinal Fd/Beverage Plicies The Center s Fd Service Demnstratin Kitchen may nt be used t cater meetings r events. N fd r beverages may be brught int the Center. After a catered event, the caterer will be respnsible fr remving perishable fd items. The Center s staff and caterer will nt package, re-tray and/r stre any fd and beverage prduct in the Center. Extra Tables/Special Set-Up The Center ffers the furniture and equipment listed n the Event Request frm. Shuld different furniture be needed, the event cntact is respnsible fr making the apprpriate arrangement with ne f the Center s apprved caterers. The Center s apprved caterers are equipped t prvide banquet tables, belly bar tables, ccktail tables, linens, and ther special service items. Children in the Center The Center ffers special learning events specifically fr schl students. All students must be supervised and chaperned by the requesting party at a rati f 5 students per 1 adult. Events will be scheduled t present the least cnflict t the adult-educatin seminars and events. Interested students under the age f 18 may register and attend the adult-educatin wrkshps nly if under the supervisin f an attending adult. The Center des nt prvide infant/tddler care r ffer prgrams fr pre-schl children. Custmer Cnfidentiality Custmer infrmatin will nt be prvided t third parties withut prir written cnsent. Access t prprietary SDG&E and SDG&E custmer infrmatin is strictly prhibited. Fees SDG&E seminars and wrkshps are funded by the public gds charge and are ffered free f charge t custmers and emplyees. On ccasin, a fee may be charged t attend a specialized seminar r wrkshp ffered by an utside entity (such as LEED Certificatin Training). External events may be subject t Center fees when additinal security, Center staff, prter service r ther additinal special service is required.

5 Event cntacts will be respnsible fr any damages t the Center prperty caused by the rganizers r event attendees. This may include replacement r repair csts. General Plicies & Prcedures Audi/visual equipment may be reserved n the Event Request Frm. On the day f the event, AV equipment must be set up by Energy Innvatin Center staff. Center staff will be happy t refer yu t an AV prvider shuld additinal AV equipment be required fr yur event. Web AV and vide cnferencing are limited t events cnducted as part f SDG&E s Wrkfrce Educatin & Training prgram. Wireless internet access is available. Guest lgin and passwrd are available at the receptin desk. Instructrs requiring wired internet fr presentatins may access wired internet thrugh use f an SDG&E cmputer. Please indicate whether wired internet is needed n the Event Request Frm. Depending n the type f event, prf f general liability insurance may be required. The Center will nt assume any respnsibility fr injuries r accidents that may ccur as a result f activities cnducted by the event rganizers r attendees. All staff and attendees are encuraged t utilize the recycling bins the Center has prvided in each rm. Please dispse f fd waste in the marked fd recycling bins. Event rganizers are expected t return the space used t its riginal cnditin. The Center reserves the right t refuse use f the rm t any grup fr any reasn. Event rganizers understand that meeting infrmatin may be psted n the Center s nline calendar f events. Event psting may be listed as private if requested. Service animals are permitted in the Center. Our gal is t ensure that all f ur visitrs have a psitive experience at the Center, s any guest wh is disruptive will be asked t leave. Cancellatin Plicy T cancel yur event please fllw the Cancellatin Prcedures belw. Any fd service that has been arranged shuld be cancelled with the caterer directly and will be subject t the selected caterer s cancellatins fees/plicies. Cancellatin Prcedures: Cancellatins shuld always be made as sn as feasible by sending an t EICreservatins@semprautilities.cm If a cancellatin is made less than ne week (7 days) frm the event date, the Event Cntact must fllw these 3 steps: 1. Send an regarding the cancellatin t EICreservatins@semprautilities.cm 2. Place a phne call t an EIC team member (n vice mail messages accepted) t cnfirm the cancellatin was received.
