3 Welcome to The Levante Parliament A Design Hotel The Levante Parliament - A Design Hotel - was opened in May, 2006, after a three-year period of construction. It has 67 rooms, including 5 suites. Our guests can also enjoy all the facilities of the Nemtoi Restaurant and Nemtoi Bar with their fascinating, unique studio glass artworks. The building s 400-square-metre inner courtyard is a wonderful venue for our restaurant guests but is also available for weddings and other events. The atmosphere is exclusive, the light from the courtyard illuminating all the rooms and public areas in the hotel; there is a sense of peace and fortitude midst the bustle of the metropolis. To round off our provision for guests there s a fitness area with a full complement of equipment, a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin and quiet room. In 2010, the hotel was extended by the addition of a 50-square-metre conference room so that our business guests can hold meetings for up to 30 colleagues right here in the building. Our hotel, built in the year 1908 in the classic-modern style so typical of the era, has retained its original lineal design and simple architectural elements in spite of additions. The four elements are the key architectural principles for the hotel: FIRE (light & transparency), EARTH (materials and colours), AIR (our rooms have a ceiling height of 3.3 metres) and WATER (fluidity and flowing forms) coupled with all the technological assets of a modern design hotel.

4 Function rooms Nemtoi Restaurant & The Levante Parliament It was Ioan Nemtoi s design concept that gave the restaurant and bar its name. The spatial focal point is the room dividers made out of four red glass firewalls. The colour and design concept is carried logically through the entire restaurant and bar area imbuing the Nemtoi Restaurant with its very special kind of chic. Here there s a contemporary ambience that embraces typical Viennese congeniality and culinary delicacies from all over Austria. Our chef de cuisine attaches value to straightforward culinary ideas based on good produce, creating simplicity and modernity out of typically Austrian specialties. The Nemtoi Bar is open daily; its design carrying the logic of the spatial concept forward. The bar unique in Vienna made from just one piece of glass, and the 3 glass firewall room dividers intensify the ambience and fascinate visitors. 5 Garden lounge On sunny days whether summer heat or winter cold the Nemtoi Restaurant and Nemtoi Bar are a special highlight: our 400-square-metre garden lounge is the spot to while away the hours! In this tranquil place, away from the hustle & bustle of the metropolis, there is a beautifully relaxed atmosphere. Whether lunch an after-work cocktail, an intimate evening meal or exclusive event in our unique garden lounge life takes on a mantle of pure enjoyment. The lounge furniture, red design bar, the large sun sail, a small water pool to bathe your feet, appropriate music and light effects all of this makes the inner courtyard suitable for many different occasions and truly memorable. 6 Meetings and conferences Our newly designed meeting rooms are on ground floor with the larger room overlooking the 400 m² courtyard, which is accessible via the lobby for all meeting attendees. Both rooms offer natural light, air condition and Wi-Fi connection. Projector, screen, flip charts and pin boards will be available in both rooms. Nonstandard furniture or technical equipment can be rented, rates will be quoted upon request. Additional and external services / additional event information Our event team is available to assist you in preparations and organization of all additional and external services. Whatever you may need, we will be happy to broker various services. Event staff Until midnight, our event staff is included in the function costs. After midnight, we charge EUR per staff member per hour hours are calculated by commenced hour plus one hour cleaning up time after the function. Parking If you are travelling by car, we are pleased to inform you that we have cooperation with a Garage nearby. The charge is at EUR 25, 00 per day including valid parking service. Wardrobe We provide an open wardrobe free of charge, please note that the hotel is not liable for items in the wardrobe. If you wish an attendant for the wardrobe, we charge EUR per attendant and hour.

13 Decoration We will be happy to arrange for decorations fitting with your main theme and colours. After individually choosing those for the event and function room, costs will be calculated according to your specifications. Music Unobtrusive background music or a live performance on stage, we can recommend DJs and musicians according to your tastes. Spouse program and additional events A magician or maybe a fire-eater? We will be happy to get you in contact with our partners, so your event will make a lasting impression.

14 Rooms and Suites The hotel is situated in a central location, behind the Parliament and the Viennese City Hall and offers 67 rooms and suites. The building dates from 1908 during the Modernist Period that began with the Vienna School and the Bauhaus. The emphasis is on rationalism, the elimination of ornament and the use of technological advances in materials that allow flexibility of design. This principle has been adhered to and adapted to incorporate the existing lineal and modern architectural elements. The hotel functions as a gallery and offers our guests an exclusive exhibition of glass works by the international artist Ioan Nemtoi, as well as a collection of unusual and breathtaking photographs. Most rooms are situated towards the courtyard, offering a very rare luxury in Viennas metropolitan bustle: Even with the windows open you will find yourself in complete quiet surrounding. All rooms offer everything from flat screen TV with entertainment system and Wi-Fi connection to individual controllable air condition and 24 h room service. 16 The Levante Laudon The Levante Laudon is a high standard apartment house. It is located only 10 minutes by foot from The Levante Parliament and the beautiful inner city with a numerous amount of sights. You will find 39 apartments in a quiet part of the 8 th district of Vienna, fulfilling all demands on modern living. If you plan to stay a little longer bigger apartments with 35m² or 55m² are the perfect choice. The interior features a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and one or two sleeping rooms. Enjoy fresh coffee in the lobby all day, or make use of the washing room and the friendly service of our staff. This will give you a feeling of being at home. Guests of The Levante Laudon can of course use the services of The Levante Parliament. (against a little extra fee)

17 Terms and conditions We will be happy to receive your booking and will put every effort in making your function positively memorable for your and your guests. After defining all the details you will recieve a summary quoting all costs including those from external services. The function is definite for us only after this summary has been returned to us with stamp and signature and the deposit is recieved. The number of participants communicated to us until 72 hours prior to the event will be considered the guaranteed minimum and charged even if there are fewer participants in the end. In case the minimum communicated to us is well below the estimate upon which the contract was based on, the hotel reserves the right to either change the function room to a smaller one, cancel the function entirely, or add extra charges for ressources kept on hold even if not used. Within 72 hours from the function an increase in participants at the same rates is possible at a maximum of 10% above the guaranteed number and hast o be confirmed by the hotel. 1. Cancellation Complete or partial cancellation of any function is free of charge up until 90 days prior to the first function day. In case of partial cancellation the hotel reserves the right to either change the function room or cancel the function entirely. Later cancellations will be charged 80% of the confirmed fixed rate services. For cancellations later than 72 hours prior to the function 100% of the total will be charged. 2. Deposit and payment Up until 21 days prior to the function you will receive a proforma invoice amounting to 50% or more of the estimated total which we will ask you to settle within 5 days of receipt. The deposit will be substracted from the final invoice. VAT will only be shown on the final invoice. Final invoices are to be paid in full until 5 working days after issue. Warning fees and interest on arrears will be charged starting with the second warning as follows: Fee per warning EUR 10,00 Interest 5% of the open balance 3. Acceptance of terms and jurisdication By returning the signed offer the terms and conditions are accepted by the customer. In case of a change to general terms, the terms as accepted still apply unless the customer agrees to the changed terms. Jurisdiction of Vienna is agreed by both parties.
