1 POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: EVENTS MANAGER DIVISION: CORPORATE SERVICES DEPARTMENT: MARKETING REPORTS TO: STATE MARKETING MANAGER WA Hollywood Private Hospital is a large, acute-care private teaching hospital. The hospital has 24-hour medical cover and support services on site. The hospital provides for general, medical and surgical specialities and has palliative care and psychiatric facilities. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Your terms and conditions of employment are as per the current Enterprise Bargaining Agreement. In summary this provides for the following: Leave Entitlements Annual Leave You are entitled to four weeks paid leave at the completion of each 12 months continuous service. This entitlement accrues pro-rata on a weekly basis and will be cumulative from year to year. Sick Leave You will receive 10 days of paid sick leave for each period of 12 months continuous service. This entitlement also accrues pro-rata on a weekly basis and will be cumulative from year to year. Remuneration Your salary is determined in accordance with your Agreement. Payment is made fortnightly into the bank, building society or credit union that you nominate. Monies are available on the Thursday afternoon of the pay week.

3 3 POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: EVENTS MANAGER KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Marketing Planning and Financials 1. In collaboration with State Marketing Manager and key internal stakeholders, contributes to developing Annual Marketing Plan incorporating marketing programmes, initiatives and projects. 2. Manages events components of Annual Marketing Plan to achieve marketing objectives. 3. Manages the administration and reporting of the Marketing budget for applicable marketing activities to ensure costs are controlled and seeks approval for nonbudgeted activities as required. Marketing Support and Advice 4. Point of contact for staff seeking event marketing advice and support. Brand 5. Liaises with State Marketing Manager and Marketing Team as applicable to ensure internal and external branding and associated communication materials conform to hospital and State branding. Events Marketing 6. In collaboration with State Marketing Manager, develops event strategies to support the Annual Marketing Plan and associated objectives 7. Organises, coordinates and finalises internal and external event logistics, including reporting on the success of each event and identifying areas for improvement 8. In consultation with key internal stakeholders, develops Annual GP Marketing Plan to achieve marketing objectives 9. Implements GP Marketing Plan and monitors effectiveness of activities, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement Marketing Communication and Online 10. Liaises with external agencies and agents as required to produce marketing and communication materials. 11. Provides marketing support for other marketing plan activities as required. 12. Provides timely, accurate and relevant content for public and staff (Zing) websites on a regular basis. Other 13. Other duties as directed.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Events Manager works closely with the State Marketing Manager WA across the internal and external events marketing portfolio to: support our internal customers in achieving their business objectives, and protect and enhance the organisation's reputation in the marketplace. The role encompasses the development and implementation of event marketing strategies for Ramsay Health Care WA and includes relationship management with key stakeholders. 5 Agents & Agencies Event and function organisers Venue managers and catering providers Advertising and Design agencies Printing companies and mailing houses Promotional merchandise suppliers 5 HOLLYWOOD PRIVATE HOSPITAL SELECTION CRITERIA POSITION: EVENTS MANAGER PERSONAL QUALITIES AND BEHAVIOURAL TRAITS Willingness to actively support the philosophy and values of the organisation Proven commitment to teamwork and willingness to work within a small team Commitment to continual quality improvement and customer focus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Five years or more experience in a senior events management or marketing role Demonstrated track record in successfully devising and implementing major and minor events in a corporate environment High level of written and oral communications skills, with a confident and professional manner Ability to meet goals and objectives in a timely and effective manner Ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple deadlines and budgets, including proven time management skills Meticulous eye for detail Creative and innovative thinker Outstanding computer literacy skills Strong analytical skills Knowledge of the healthcare industry (desirable) Driver's license ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Marketing, Events Management, Communications or Public Relations
