1 POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title Position Number Reports to Manager Marketing and Sales, UnitingCare Ageing Functional Auth HRM Auth Region UnitingCare NSW.ACT Communication and Marketing Date Date Function Communication and Marketing Signature Signature Role Purpose The aim of this role is to support the Manager Marketing and Sales in the development and implementation of marketing campaign and brand activities at both the organisational and regional levels. The role also provides project management support and coordination. Key Challenges Provision of support and input into a range of communication and marketing projects and initiatives Coordination of a number of projects simultaneously with varying deadlines, objectives and stakeholders Ensuring enquiries are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner Maintaining an excellent customer service ethic while working within a complex structural environment Undertaking a project lead role that also requires operational hands-on work Key Result Areas 1. Coordinate the implementation of approved marketing projects outlined in the Service Development Plans. 2. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and brand activities to deliver on agreed commercial objectives 3. Provide project support and coordinate the development and implementation of the Strategic Organisational Marketing Plan 4. Input and support into building marketing capability and capacity Position Description Page 1 of 5

2 KRA 1: Coordinate the implementation of approved marketing projects outlined in the Service Development Plans. In conjunction with the Manager, Marketing and Sales input into the development of marketing strategies for service development projects. Working with regional property and admission staff, regional communication and marketing staff and other appropriate stakeholders to project coordinate regional Service Development Plans. Participate in regular Service Development Project subgroup meetings. Provide project support in the planning and running of meetings. Regular reporting and analysis on project progress to Manager, Marketing and Sales. Coordinate ongoing feedback and evaluation of implementation outcomes. Demonstrates ability to understand the development of marketing plans Demonstrates ability to engage a diverse group of stakeholders in achieving coordination of implementation plans Demonstrates excellent verbal presentation skills Demonstrates ability to manage jobs with external key stakeholders, such as design agencies to achieve desired outcomes and deadlines. KRA 2: Coordinate the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and brand activities to deliver on agreed commercial objectives Working with regional property, admission and Communication and Marketing staff project to coordinate regional marketing initiatives. Analyse performance and progress of marketing initiatives against monthly reports. Demonstrates ability to engage a diverse group of stakeholders in achieving coordination of implementation plans Demonstrates good understanding of the sales function as it relates to Independent Living in aged care Demonstrates good understanding of connection and difference between marketing and sales functions Demonstrates excellent verbal presentation skills Demonstrates ability to manage jobs with creative agencies to achieve desired outcomes and deadlines. KRA 3: Provide project support and coordinate the development and implementation of the Strategic Organisational Marketing Plan Support Manager, Marketing and Sales with the project management of recommendations outlined in the Future Directions of UnitingCare Ageing Communication and Marketing, Strong project planning experience - demonstrates ability to coordinate a number of marketing and sales projects simultaneously with varying deadlines objectives and stakeholders Demonstrates ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels. Ability to demonstrate to deadlines in an appropriate and timely manner

3 Support Manager, Marketing and Sales to ensure Brand audit is thoroughly and successfully completed and analyzed to inform the development of brand implementation project Support Manager, Marketing and Sales with research and reporting on outlining the way forward for the UnitingCare Ageing brand in relation to new Service Model Support Manager, Marketing and Sales with research and reporting on an engagement focused Employer and Employee Value Proposition Support Manager, Marketing and Sales with the implementation of the strategic marketing plan KRA 4: Input and support in the building of organisational marketing capability and capacity Provide support to Manager, Marketing and sales with the identification of gaps in marketing capability and capacity, both organisational and regional Provide support and coordinate implementation of initiatives to develop a collaborative learning environment for staff involved in marketing. Provide ongoing contribution for opportunities to further develop the marketing function within UnitingCare Ageing Collate and record industry and competitor brand activities for the purpose of marketing reporting Demonstrate ability to identify and utilise new opportunities, both organisational and regional Ability to work independently and as a team member as required Ability to critically analyse information and draw out key issues for marketing and sales reporting Demonstrates ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels.
