Events and Venues Service The Events and Venues Service provides professional support for a wide range of meeting rooms and conference facilities in Hampshire County Council s headquarters complex. The following services are available in all rooms: Full reception and conference support from a friendly professional team Fully IT- equipped, well appointed bright and airy rooms fulfilling all meeting and training requirements A menu choice from a range of catering options, available when booking Refreshments available throughout the day Delegate packs and signage Free Wi-Fi Open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm Hampshire County Council

4 Our venues Elizabeth II Court: Ashburton Hall and the Podium conference rooms Just five minutes walk from Winchester train station, with bus links to South Winchester Park and Ride, our main building Elizabeth II Court offers the four Podium conference rooms - fully accessible venues ideal for conferences, training, staff away days and events, with capacities ranging from 14 to 70 people. In the same building our large auditorium, Ashburton Hall, can cater for up to 200 delegates theatre style with other layouts available upon request. If required, the four smaller rooms can be booked in conjunction with the hall, serving as break out rooms or alternative meeting rooms. All the rooms are fully accessible and fully IT-equipped, with free Wi-Fi. They can cater for those with hearing impairments and are accessible to people in wheelchairs. Delegates can choose from a range of catering options before booking, and refreshments can be made available throughout the day. Conferencing at

8 The Great Hall With limited availability, we can also offer the Great Hall, our 13th century hall presided over by King Arthur s Round Table. As a major tourist attraction with visitors from around the world, a sought-after wedding venue and a popular filming location, the Great Hall is always in high demand - but it is available on a limited number of dates for commercial events. Falcon House Falcon House is a dedicated conference and training venue, offering flexible accommodation for groups from eight to 80 people. Located in pleasant surroundings, one mile from the centre of Winchester, on a bus route from the railway station and easily accessible from the M3, A31 and the A34, rooms at Falcon House offer all the same features and extras as our other rooms, and owing to the less central location, Falcon House is also able to offer free car parking. 11 Hampshire Printing Services Hampshire Printing Services (HPS) offers a diverse range of design and print solutions. Based in Elizabeth II Court in central Winchester, HPS operates a fully equipped digital print room from 7am to 6pm on week days, with over 15,000,000 sides of print produced annually using the latest in high-volume digital printers. Print jobs can be submitted online using the HantsPrint Service. The full-scope provision also includes graphic design and photography services, and professionals from every aspect of print will liaise with clients at all stages of the process. A free estimate of cost is supplied to ensure best value and to achieve delivery deadlines. Large format printing is catered for in-house, with fast bulk printing and folding of plans and maps, and high quality posters, up to A0 size. Other services from HPS include mail merge, complex variable data processing and ad hoc mailings of bulk items, which are processed for despatch by or traditional mailing solutions. HPS is also home to the Sign Workshop, a specialist signage unit offering a full range of signage solutions which also includes banners, displays, exhibitions, vehicle livery, engraving and installation. HPS has a heritage of some 50 years but has invested wisely in the latest technology to ensure quality and service is maintained to high standards.
