SUN LAKES, AZ THIS SATURDAY - CWPV COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE April 9 th - CWPV homeowners may hold a garage sale on their property Items for sale must be contained in the garage or driveway area of the property. Homeowners will be responsible for their own advertisement. Signs will be allowed on this day only and one self-supporting tent style Garage Sale sign, no larger than 25 x24, is permitted on a homeowner s property. HOMEMADE SIGNS ARE PERMITTED. Only Sun Lakes residents (Cottonwood Palo Verde, IronOaks, Sun Lakes Country Club) with identifying windshield stickers or homeowner cards are permitted into Palo Verde per Board Policy Chapter All items must be removed from the driveway by 3pm. SUN LAKES WOMEN S ASSOCIATION HELP THEM KEEP YOUR MONEY IN SUN LAKES All women of Sun Lakes are welcome to join Sun Lakes Women s Association! The SLWA meet monthly on Monday mornings in the Arts and Crafts room at Sun Lakes Country Club from 9:00am to 11:00am. If you have any items left over from the April 9th CWPV Community Garage Sale, SLWA would be happy to collect these items for you. Your donations to the Sun Lakes Women s Association are very much appreciated! For donation pick-up, please call The Cottonwood Palo Verde community has been fortunate to be the recipient of monetary support for several projects due to the efforts of the Sun Lakes Women s Association. The success of the Annual Fall Bazaar and other SLWA events depends on your generous donations. Please support their efforts by donating jewelry, furniture, small appliances & electronics, china, dishes, pots 'n pans, decor items, lamps small furniture (no large furniture), craft & arts supplies, books, tapes DVDs CDs, prints & paintings, linens, knick-knacks, holiday decorations, etc. Please note - they are unable to pick up computer peripherals (printers, scanners). SEASONAL HOMEOWNERS - BEFORE YOU LEAVE CHECKLIST The following is a checklist to aid you in your preparations to leave your Cottonwood Palo Verde home. Complete a VACATION WATCH FORM. Available at Homeowner Services or at When you return, please remember to call Patrol at Absentee homeowners and Rental property owners: Make arrangements to have someone care for the exterior and interior of your property during your absence. Patrol will be noting unkempt yards. Letters will be sent to the owners and fines will be imposed. If you are renting your property and your renters are planning to use the club amenities, you MUST turn in your homeowner ID cards to Homeowner Services. Renter Cards will be issued ONLY if: Homeowner Services has your homeowner ID cards on file. A signed Cottonwood Palo Verde Rental Agreement has been submitted. Copies of the renter s proof of age (ex. driver's license) are submitted. Payment of a $25 processing fee has been collected DO NOT put cardboard, aluminum foil, paper, insulation material or any other materials in your windows. The Architectural Compliance Guidelines prohibits putting any such materials in windows. Complete a HOMEOWNER MAILING ADDRESS CHANGE SHEET (available at Homeowner Services) only if you want your HOA mail sent to an address other than what the Association database has on file for you. As we enter the next phase of this much needed Community Project, we would like to add 5 additional members to the Health & Wellness Center Task Force. We will be looking for those who are, or have been, regular fitness center users and who have experience in Finance, Construction or Sales Promotion. If you are interested in the opportunity to get involved and share your talents, please pick up an application at the Administration Office, fill out and turn back in to Admin. Interviews will be held later this month and you will be contacted with date, time and place. The Facilities & Grounds Committee meets monthly to assist the Board and CWPV Management with projects brought forth by the Board/Management Long Range Planning Team (B/M LRPT). The Committee is directly responsible to the B/M LRPT and the Board.
