3 The Safari Lodge Escape to the countryside and find us in 3,000 acres of beautiful parkland, home of Woburn Abbey and a vast sweeping deer park. Woburn Safari Park was opened in 1970 and welcomes over 500,000 visitors each year. Today the park is an internationally recognised centre for conservation of endangered species, drawing crowds of visitors to experience an authentic safari adventure to rival a trip to the Serengeti. 9 Food and Beverage options The Safari Lodge catering team are dedicated to providing you with a menu to suit your taste and requirements. Choose from one of our package options including delicious light finger buffets, substantial hot buffets or a relaxed BBQ on the veranda. Formal menus of three or four courses can be offered for a sumptuous Gala Dinner or annual awards lunch. Or why not offer something a little different? Enjoy a glass of Champagne and a bite on the veranda, while you watch the sunset and enjoy the harmonious accompaniment of sounds from the wildlife surrounding you. The fully licensed bar can be opened for your event, or simply arrange a specific drinks package, or tea and coffee station to keep your delegates refreshed through the day. 10 Additional Experiences and Animal Encounters Safari Survival Try your hand at our team building adventure game Safari Survival and face some wild challenges in the Foot Safari as you meet some of the magnificent wild residents there. Delegates compete in small teams to win gold stars by completing a selection of trials with the animals. Go Ape Whizzing through the trees on the zip wires at Go Ape is a sure-fire way of injecting a bit of spirit into team-building. All will receive a full safety brief before enjoying an adventure taking on rope bridges, crossings and Tarzan Swings in the woodland of Woburn Safari Park. VIP Experiences Treat small groups to a unique VIP experience and take an Off Road Safari Adventure tour with one of our experienced ranger guides, taking you up close to some of the amazing animals at the park. Team Building Activity Site For those looking to really challenge their delegates there is a large site just across the lake from the lodge available to hire to accommodate a variety of activities including giant inflatable s, sports day races and strategy games.
