Shooman, Poytechnic University Risk anaysis is a powerfu too that can be used to quantify decisions that are made in protecting or responding to a terrorist act. There are severa probabiistic methodoogies that can be used to evauate such the probabiity of occurrence and risk of such events. In genera these anayses are driven by the probabiity of occurrence of the various events, and the accuracy and utiity of the anaysis is directy reated to the accuracy of the occurrence data. A BDD & SEA BASED ANALYSIS OF GENERALIZED PHASED-MISSION RELIABILITY Dr. Guangyu Chen, Xizi Huang, and Xiaowo Tang, Univ. of Eec. Science and Tech. of China Accounting for the reiabiity anaysis of a generaized phased-mission system (GPMS) with two-eve moduar imperfect coverage (MIPC), the dynamic behavior & the statistica dependencies across phases are the most important factors for reiabiity modeing & anaysis. There exist severa approaches, such as a famiy of decision diagrams caed ternary decision diagrams (TDD) and a mutistate binary decision diagram (MBDD) based approach, proposed for the GPMS reiabiity evauation. 3:45 PM 5:45 PM, Wednesday Pane 12A Pacific Saon A/B ACHIEVING R & M FOR THE ARMY S FUTURE COMBAT SYSTEM Moderators: Mevin R.
