5 Introduction 1 Introduction Wecome to APIS IQ-Software (IQ: Integrated Quaity), the software for FMEA, DRBFM, Risk Anaysis, Functiona Safety and Requirement Management. The APIS IQ-Software famiy incudes the APIS Server software and the APIS Cient software. As we as training sessions on the use of our software toos, we aso offer seminars in FMEA methodoogy and FMEA moderation. In addition, we are aso happy to offer our services as a partner for moderation services. We beieve it is very important that the working conditions in our seminars are perfect, whether at your faciities or in one of our bright and modern training rooms for up to 12 participants. 27 Moderation Services 23 Moderation Services FMEA moderation The process of preparing an FMEA (Faiure Mode and Effect Anaysis) is a chaenging and potentiay difficut task for the persons invoved. In the process, ack of experience can often significanty increase the workoad, resuting in additiona costs and oss of motivation on the part of those invoved. For an FMEA to be performed efficienty and in the best possibe way, not ony must the moderator have fu contro over the methods used, but he or she must aso be aware of and take into account a of the options and imitations of these methods. The moderator must be famiiar with the software functions of the empoyed too and be abe to appy a range of different moderation techniques. Optimized moderation during the teamwork can reduce outay and time requirements by up to 50 %. 32 Genera Terms of Business of APIS Informationstechnoogien GmbH Registration A registrations for our seminars must be received in writing by etter, fax or e-mai. By registering for one of our seminars, customers agree to be bound by our Genera Terms of Business. Due to the imited number of paces avaiabe for our seminars, they are awarded on a "first come, first served" basis. Registrations ony become effective once they have been confirmed in writing. If the minimum number of participants is not attained for a particuar seminar then we wi notify you immediatey and offer an aternative date if required. Canceation A canceation fee of 20% of the attendance fee is payabe if canceation notification is received between 8 weeks and 2 weeks before the start of the seminar. If the canceation is received ess than 2 weeks before the start of the seminar then the fu attendance fee is payabe. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
