Introduction HTC setup (Android 4.1.1; HTC Sense 4.0) Add the account to your device Add a signature (optional) Samsung setup (Android 4.1.2; TouchWiz Nature UX) Add the account to your device Add a signature (optional) Introduction The following instructions show how to configure your Android device so that complies with company policy. There are many different versions flavours of Android from different manufacturers, so you may find that the screen shots differ from your own device. It is not feasible to cover every Android device on the market and these guides are indicative only. To use the guide below, choose the section most like your device. If you are still having difficulties creating your account, you may need to refer to specific guides for your device (from the manufacturer) for more instructions. The configuration settings required for all devices (whatever the make and model) are as follows. 2 2. HTC setup (Android 4.1.1; HTC Sense 4.0) 2.1. Add the account to your device 1. From the home screen, drag down the shader (slide down from the top). 2. Tap the gear settings icon, top right. 3. Tap Accounts & sync. 4. Tap Add. 5. Tap Mail. 6. Tap Manual setup. 7. Tap the POP button. 8. Tap IMAP. 9. Enter your address, the password sent to you by the Helpdesk, and the incoming server settings. Tap Next. 10. Your address and password should be prefilled. Enter the outgoing server settings and tap Next. 11. Give the account settings a name, and enter your own name. Tap Finish setup. 2 Configuring on Android Devices

3 Your Android device should now be able to send and receive . If not, please return to the start of these instructions and carefully check all steps Add a signature (optional) 1. From the home screen, drag down the shader (slide down from the top). 2. Tap the settings icon. 3. Tap Accounts & sync. 4. Tap Mail. 5. Tap Account settings. 6. Tap General settings. 7. Tap Signature. 8. Enter your preferred signature (perhaps your name and the profit centre address). Tap Save. Configuring on Android Devices 3

4 3. Samsung setup (Android 4.1.2; TouchWiz Nature UX) 3.1. Add the account to your device 1. From the home screen, drag down the shader (slide down from the top). 2. Tap the settings gear icon, top right. 3. Scroll to the Accounts section. 4. At the end of the Accounts section, tap Add account. 5. Tap Enter your address and the password sent to you by the Helpdesk. You may also wish to choose the option Send from this account by default. Then press Manual setup. 7. Tap IMAP account. 8. Your address and password should be prefilled. Enter the incoming server settings and tap Next. 4 Configuring on Android Devices

5 9. Enter the outgoing server settings and tap Next. 10. There are some optional settings here. Adjust as required and tap Next. 11. Give the account settings a name, and enter your own name. Tap Done. Your Android device should now be able to send and receive . If not, please return to the start of these instructions and carefully check all steps Add a signature (optional) 1. From the home screen, drag down the shader (slide down from the top). 2. Tap the settings gear icon, top right. 3. Scroll to the Accounts section and tap Tap the address you created previously. 6 5. Tap the account you created previously. 6. Tap the word Signature. 7. Enter your preferred signature (perhaps your name and the profit centre address). Tap Done. 8. Ensure the green on/off Signature slider is set to the on ( I ) position. 6 Configuring on Android Devices
