Invitation for competative bidding ITI Ltd, Regional Office (herein reffered as ITI LTD) was formed in the year 1948 and is a public Sector company coming under the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Govt of India. ITI is desirous to have TELEPHONE SERVICE & LINE MAINTENANCE service and for selection of vendor to do the service calls for this EOI. Prequalification Criteria. 2.1 The Bidder should be a registered firm. 2.3 The bidder should have local office at Bangalore. 2.4 The bidder should not outsource the service. 2.5 The bidder should not have been black listed for fradulent practices by any of its client, Central/State Government. 2.6 The bidder should have Labour liecence, ESI & PF Registration, PAN Registration No & IT Returns, Service Tax Registration. 2.7 The bidder who is already experienced with ITI will be exempted for clause No 2.3 as above as per the recommendation of user dept. 2.8 The bidder should enclose a cheque/ D.D of Rs 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) in favour of M/s ITI Ltd, Bangalore.The said amount is non-refundable if succeeded. 2.9 Qualified Manpower with knowledge of line side maintenance of telephone exchange minimum capacity 2300 lines EOI-Labour Contract P a g e 4 of 7

SC0PE OF WORK. 3.1 Telephone service & line maintenance: (T S L M ) Managing all kind of line faults to the existing telephones lines Presently there are 2300 working lines in the circumferencial area of around 1.5 kms with different Govt offices Making new telephone connection as per the new requirements of the end user and submit the measurement to Incharge of TSLM for record and necessary action If any alteration of line or new lines correction and modification periodically wherever required with linking with the MDF to be properly informed to the end customer / Incharge of TSLM Proper Speedy response to be given to the user even on telephone/mobile Monitoring of all the telephones / line faults day to day basis Updating line faults which improve performance Periodic checking of all the working lines & telephones for smooth operation. 4. Terms & Conditions 4.1 Services: The vendor shall perform the services specified in scope of work, which is integrated part of this contract. 4.2 Staff: (a) Minimum number of professionals should to be deployed to TSLM, Government Office, Bangalore : One for exchange faults booking and one to be ready on the move to respective premises as and when required with out fail. (b) Minimum number of professional should be deployed to TSLM, Government Office, Mangalore : One should be available in the exchange premises for attending fault rectification work. 4.3 Payment: Payment shall be made in Indian rupees on monthly basis on submission of invoices/ bills alongwith proof of payment made to-wards Service Tax, PF, ESI, Pension etc. to the Incharge TSLM designated. 6 4.4 Performance Standards: The vendor undertakes to perform the services with the highest standard of professional and ethical exellance. 4.5 Competance and Integrity.The vendor shall promptly replace an employee assigned under this contract as per the incharge TSLM instructions. 4.6 Confidentiality: The vendor and their employed professionals shall not, during the term of contract and within the contract period even after its expiration, disclose any proprietary or confidential information relating to the services, without the prior written consent of Incharge of TSLM. 4.7 Ownership of Material: Tools like measuring instruments/ other component/materials issued to the vendor/his representatives for the purpose of TSLM under the contract shall belong and remain the property of the Tenderer. The vendor shall not use them for the purpose unrelated to this contract without prior written permission to the incharge of TSLM. 4.8 Assignment: The vendor shall not assign this contract or Sub-let any portion to a third party without the tenderer s perior written consent. 4.9 Tender accepting authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid during bidding process at any time prior to award of contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected The professional required to report for TSLM work from 9.00 AM sharp and shall remain till 5.30 PM, stay back also depends on TSLM work, as per the requirement of the customer Safety & Welfare measures to be undertaken by the vendor Law governing the contract: The contract shall be governed by the Land of law The vendor has to sign an Integrity Pact which is attached herewith to our EOI. 7 FINANCIAL BID 1. Name of the work: Providing Technical Man power in Government Offices at Bangalore and Mangalore for Maintenance of Telephone/Line. 2. Name of the Tenderer/Firm 3. Minimum wage amount for unskilled labour in rupees per day (which includes statutory payments) as per Labour Law: Rs. (Rupees in words) 4. Decleration by the contractor. DECLERATION This is to certify that I/We before signing the tender document/eoi have read and fully understood all the terms and conditions and undertake to myself/ourselves to abide the same I/We fully agreed and accepted the present rates, all the taxes as per government norms if I get the offer.
