2 Dear Community Member, This year, at The Gregory School, we are celebrating our 35th anniversary! As we reflect on our growth we become more excited for our future. The SIP for The Gregory School is a gala event and silent auction that exists in order to provide scholarships to our deserving students. The event, held on our campus in the El Mirador Gymnasium on March 2, 2016, will feature wine tasting expertly paired with fine food samples from local chefs and caterers, a fabulous silent auction, and live entertainment. In case you're not familiar with The Gregory School, we are an independent co ed day school for students in grades 5 12 that has served Arizona families since The education our students receive is unique. Our programs and schedule are designed to provide a cross curricular, inter disciplinary learning experience. We allow collaboration between faculty and students by engaging them in authentic problem probing and problem solving activities. To this end, our campus spaces have been created and re created to promote our student centered philosophy. As this school year began, we opened our fabrication lab to all classes. The Gregory School is the first and only member, in the state of Arizona, of the MIT Fab Lab Network. The proceeds from The Sip for The Gregory School support our scholarship programs. Nearly 30% of our students receive some level of financial assistance. Support from The Gregory School and the local community enables curious, qualified, and hard working students to become experienced innovators, compassionate citizens, and ethical leaders. The Sip has hosted some of Tucson's most notable community members, featured stellar vintners, and grossed hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit the school.
