1 September 2014 Dear Community Partners and Friends of C-CAP: On Thursday, November 6, 2014, we will celebrate with the community at the First Harvest Moon Dinner with presenting sponsor Cancer Treatment Centers of America benefitting Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) at the PHX Renews site. During the evening s program we will award the C-CAP Community Award to a community hero of so many causes, one of our favorite Arizona Cardinal s, Larry Fitzgerald. You and your guests will enjoy incredible food from C-CAP alumni and current C-CAP students partnered with local Valley Chefs. Our emcees Executive Chef Beau MacMillan from Elements at The Sanctuary and Chef/Owner Mark Tarbell from Tarbell s will host the celebration which includes a live auction and $100 mystery baskets. We are requesting your participation with this event in support of our fundraising efforts for our C-CAP Arizona students. All money raised will support our C-CAP AZ program and assist Arizona students and teachers. Careers through Culinary Arts Program works with public schools across the country to prepare underserved high school students for college and career opportunities in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Here in Arizona, C-CAP is a statewide program with over 6000 students annually working with teachers and educators everyday all over our great state. Our goal is simple. It is to provide scholarships to these students to create success with their future career in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
