Attendees enjoy food and drink along with the program. Event Description Date April 2014 Location Barnaby s of Havertown Attendees Over 75 Friends of HTFL 2014 Garden Tour A chance for neighbors to look over the garden fence and peek into the secret gardens of Haverford Township. Ticket holders tour 6-8 private gardens and then return to The Grange where there will be a reception, presentation, and tour of the Grange gardens. Event Description Date June 2014 Location Beginning at the Historic Grange Estate Attendees Over 100 HTFL Comic Con 2.0 Comic book fans, young and old, come together for the opportunity to meet comic creators, shop at local independent comic book sellers booths, and attend panel discussions. The Con includes movie screenings, free raffles, contests, and costumes! Event Description Date July 2014 Location HTFL Community Room Attendees Over th Annual Business Breakfast Event Description Date September 2014 Local business people are invited to network and learn more about the free business resources available right here at the Library. Location Haverford Township Free Library Attendees Over nd Annual Chili Cook-Off Event Description Local amateur and professional chefs compete for year- long bragging rights at the Annual Chili Cook-Off. Community members taste and act as judges with awards for various categories like Spiciest and Best Overall. Date September 2014 Location HTFL Parking Lot Attendees Over 100 HTFL Gala and Silent Auction Join the Library Board of Trustees, staff, and supporters as we celebrate the Library. Enjoy cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction brought to you by the Friends of HTFL. We will honor local community members who help strengthen the Library and further its mission.
