This 3-day conference will provide updated research, application and skill development in Extracorporeal Life Support designed to improve the care and management for patients and their families. CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES:. Participants will be able to: differentiate and formulate approaches to the intricate process of managing coagulation in ECLS patients; articulate the future of ECLS therapies; assess and utilize best practices for supporting bleeding risk patients; and build skills for managing CRRT and ECPR priming. INTENDED AUDIENCE: The program is designed for physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, cardiovascular perfusionists and advanced practice professionals who are active in the clinical application, research and development of Extracorporeal Life Support therapies.
