Dear GCCMA Member, On behalf of the Greater Chicago Chapter Club Managers Foundation, we are writing you to cordially invite you to participate in The Club Managers Foundation Golf Outing, being held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Twin Orchard Country Club. Last year, the Greater Chicago Club Managers Foundation Golf Outing raised over $50,000 dollars. The recipients of these donations from previous years event included; scholarships to collegiate students majoring in Hospitality and specializing in Club Management, ITF- Illinois Turfgrass Foundation, CDGA- Sunshine thru Golf Foundation, and IPGA- Illinois Jr. Golf Foundation. First Tee of Illinois and Autism Society of Illinois. Funds from this years outing will be awarded to hospitality students and the Autism Society of Illinois once again. This Foundation is a premier opportunity to provide scholarships to deserving students who attend HRA (Hotel, Restaurant Administration) colleges or universities throughout the United States and seek a career in the club management concentration. Secondly, the Foundation s objective is to engineer and sponsor unbelievable training and educational opportunities, tailored directly to the need of both the apprentice and committed Club Managers in the Chicago land area. The success of this outing relies not only on the support of our vendors but the support of you, our Member. We strongly encourage you to participate in this excellent golf outing. The day s events include playing the magnificent multimillion dollar renovated golf courses, world class food and dining, and impeccable Twin Orchard style service. You will have an immense opportunity to network with other Club Managers and our vendor partners who help make the entire event possible.
