1 Kooper s Golf Classic The Kooper s Golf Classic is back and will be held at the prestigious Hunt Valley Golf Club in Phoenix, Md. on Monday, October 19, Carved out of 265 acres of the most picturesque terrain in the greater Baltimore area, Hunt Valley Golf Club's championship golf course capitalizes on the inherent beauty of the region. Its 27 holes wind through the surrounding hills, valleys and streams, offering golfers a variety of situations to test their skills. The course design places emphasis on shot placement and offers a wide range of tee locations to challenge players of all calibers. It is truly a course layout that requires every club in the bag. The Kooper s Golf Classic packs the course with great features and contests to help ensure your day on the course is one of the most memorable you've had. A large portion of the proceeds of the Kooper s Golf Classic will benefit Living Classroom Foundation and Charm City Youth Lacrosse League. 2 The Hunt Valley Golf Club is located at: Phoenix Rd Phoenix, Md Tel: (410) Cost: $ per golfer Schedule of Events: Registration Opens: 9:15 AM Breakfast and Putting Contest: 9:30 AM Meeting with Starter: 10:30 AM Shotgun Start: 10:45 AM Lunch and snacks will be provided on the course, during the outing Awards Ceremony & Dinner: Starting at 4:45 PM Format and Rules: The format for the Kooper s Golf Classic is a Shotgun. One or Two foursomes on each of the twenty-seven hole all starting at the same time. When play begins, all team members hit their shots. The captain will choose the best tee shot to become the spot from which all team members hit their second shots. This "best ball" play continues until with each round of shots counting as one stroke for the group, until a final group score is posted for the hole. Please note that there is a max score of double par per hole to keep everyone on pace. While we strongly encourage everyone to go with the flow, enjoy the good times on the course and remember that this is for a great cause, please note all golfers need to Tee-off by 11:00 AM to finish their rounds before dinner. Contests: Every participant will have the opportunity to play in the following tournament contests: Best Score Closest to the Pin (2) Longest Drive (2) Hole-in-One for a Car! Putting Contest vs. Celebrity (putting contest tickets are available for purchase at registration)

3 Beverages: The course will be stocked with water, sodas and beer. Beer and wine will be available on our tipsy carts. If you plan on drinking adult beverages, please be mindful of your surroundings, drink responsibly and use the appropriate facilities. Remember you are representing Kooper s. Please feel free to let any of the Kooper s or Hunt Valley Golf Club Staff know if you need a taxi home or back to your home/hotel. Dress Code: The Hunt Valley Golf Club is a prestigious course and requires the following attire: no denim, no t-shirts, no tank tops, and no metal spikes (soft spikes, soft-soled shoes or sneakers are okay). No exception allowed. We will play rain or shine so please dress for the weather! Changes: Please relay any known changes to your foursome as soon as possible to [email protected]. If there are any day-of changes, please arrive at registration early so we can alter the scorecards accordingly. Rental Clubs: Clubs may be available to rent at Hunt Valley Golf Club. Please call them at to reserve your set if necessary. There are limited quantities available so, if you need them, please reserve your set today. Lacrosse Gear Drive: Bring any new or gently used Lacrosse Gear and Sticks during registration hours, for the benefit of Charm City Youth Lacrosse League.
