2 Canadian Tire Brockville Rotary Golf Classic BROCKVILLE Wednesday, July 8, 2015, Brockville Country Club Dear Sponsor: We are Rotary; we are a service club that believes in Service Above Self. The Canadian Tire Brockville Rotary Golf Classic Tournament is our principal fundraiser. This year our theme is For the Community! We are raising money for Sherwood Park Manor to purchase 52 replacement beds and mattresses for their residents, as well as the Brockville Canadian Tire Jumpstart Chapter - providing financial assistance to children who cannot afford to participate in sport and recreation. Over the past 10 years this tournament has raised approximately $420,000. Our target for this year s tournament is $100,000! $50,000 of the proceeds will go directly to Sherwood Park Manor, to complete our $100,000 commitment to purchase 32 new beds. Last year we raised $50,000 of that goal and we need your help to raise the rest! $15,000 of the tournament proceeds will fund our local children in sport through the Brockville Canadian Tire Jumpstart Chapter and the remaining funds raised will support Rotary s many local and international Projects. This year s event will be held at the Brockville Country Club on Wednesday, July 8th, The day will start with breakfast at 6:45 a.m. for morning draw or lunch at 11:30 a.m. for afternoon draw, followed by the shotgun Golf start commencing at 7:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. there will be a wine and cheese event, non golfers attending the banquet dinner will receive a complimentary glass of wine to enjoy while they shop! The banquet will start at 6:00 p.m. followed by the biggest and best silent auction in Eastern Ontario!
