The mission of the Nonprofit Village is to increase the strength and sustainability of nonprofits by providing professional space, essential services, and collaborative opportunities.
November 15, 2015 Dear Community Partner, We are pleased to announce the Nonprofit Village Annual Awards Breakfast which is scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2016 from 7:00-9:30 AM at the Bethesda Marriott Pooks Hill. The Nonprofit Village is the first and only shared space nonprofit center in Montgomery County. We house 24 nonprofit organizations that collectively serve more than 68,000 citizens each year. By providing shared space, essential services and collaborative solutions, we help defray business operating and administrative costs, thereby allowing small charities to focus on their missions in the community. Outcomes envisioned for Nonprofit Village are being realized; over the past three years, tenants have increased savings, experienced growth in revenue of up to 29%, and hired more than 60 people resulting in a 31% increase. Sponsors make a difference by strengthening the infrastructure and building the capacity of these organizations. When you become a sponsor you help nonprofits reduce their rentable footprint, expand the services and technology available to our tenants, allow us to provide professional development scholarships and improve the shared library. On behalf of the Board and staff, we invite you to join us as a sponsor of this event. Our early bird sponsors include Clark Enterprises, The JBG Companies, and Chevy Chase Land Co. Enclosed is our sponsorship package. We hope you will consider supporting the Nonprofit Village and the many nonprofit organizations that it serves each year. For questions, please contact us at 301-230-0111 or via email at kjones@thenonprofitvillage.org. Sincerely, Andy Stern Chair, Board of Directors Kim Jones Executive Director
