A Quick Start Tutrial is available. The new Calligraphic Pens tl is like the Pens tl, but it smthes yur writing r drawing and prduces lines f varying thickness. N N OT E The Calligraphic Pens tl is available nly if yur cmputer is cnnected t a SMART interactive prduct. SMART Ntebk sftware can imprt and exprt Cmmn File Frmat (.iwb) files. SMART Ntebk sftware includes user interfaces in Cratian and Serbian. The sftware s perfrmance is better, especially with images and shapes and pages with image fills. SMART Ntebk sftware 10.7 intrduces Sptlight and Quicklk integratin fr.ntebk files. As a result,.ntebk files that cntain the search text appear in the OS search results and yu can preview the cntents f.ntebk files withut actually pening SMART Ntebk sftware. 3
Reslved issues Yu can draw digital ink ver Adbe Flash Player cmpatible files. Enabling user tracking n lnger causes SMART Ntebk sftware t stp respnding. The Eraser tl ribbn nly appears when yu press the Eraser tl n the tlbar. N N OT E This issue didn t affect SMART Bard 800 series interactive whitebards. Yu can nw use the Fill tl t apply fill prperties t bjects using a pen r yur finger. Previusly, yu had t use a muse. Yu can nw marquee select ver lcked bjects. SMART Ntebk sftware 10.7 starts mre quickly than previus versins. SMART Ntebk sftware can save files t netwrk drives in a dependable manner. When yu search fr items in the Gallery tab, the results mre accurately reflect what yu re searching fr. SMART Ntebk sftware includes imprved language supprt, in particular imprved supprt fr right-t-left languages. The tlbar displays crrectly. Writing n the interactive whitebard r using screen shades n lnger triggers Windws 7 perating system finger gestures (when enabled). SMART Ntebk sftware 10.7 includes the fllwing imprvements relating t Adbe Flash Player cmpatible files: Yu can type text in the Scrlling Text Banner. Flash Cards recgnize all written numbers. The Text Splitter and Randm Text Tl supprt accented characters. Yu can enter text in the Spinner (). Editing the Dice Keywrd item wrks as expected. Knwn issues General When yu und the gruping r ungruping f bjects, they aren t selected prperly. Resizing, rtating and ther actins yu apply t these bjects dn t wrk as expected. Fr mre infrmatin, see smarttech.cm/kb/158597. SMART Ntebk sftware stps respnding when yu exprt a file as PDF with characters in its file name that aren t supprted by yur perating system s language. When yu use SMART Ntebk Dcument Writer, equatins and tables can verlap. If yu attempt t capture a dcument that cntains OpenType fnts using the Dcument Writer feature, a warning message appears and prmpts yu t save the dcument in versin 9 frmat. Exprted.iwb files dn t supprt SMART Ntebk Math Tls graphs. If SMART Bard Tls isn t running when SMART Ntebk sftware starts, SMART Ntebk sftware might nt recgnize input frm the interactive whitebard. T reslve this issue, always ensure that SMART Bard Tls is running befre yu start SMART Ntebk sftware. When Adbe Flash Player 10.1 is installed n a PwerPC based Mac cmputer, SMART Ntebk sftware can quit unexpectedly when yu use Adbe Flash Player cmpatible cntent within yur SMART Ntebk file.
