Job title: Programme Manager Purpose To manage the day to day business of the Kinning Park Complex (KPC). This involves the management of all studio and hall lets as well co-ordination of the cleaning caretaking and events team. The programme manger is also responsible for the implementation of the buildings health and safety policies and good up keep of it s equipment. The post will also be responsible for the management of some of the funded programmes of activities carried out by the KPC. Organisation information Kinning Park Complex is an independent multi-use community centre, run by the community since they had to step in to prevent closure of the facility by the local Council in 1996. We maintain and rent out halls, meeting rooms, studios and office spaces at affordable prices where people and groups can put their ideas into action. We also manage community development projects in the local area. KPC has two large halls (one with a kitchen area) and a meeting room, which are all available to hire. We also host 14 studio / office spaces, which are regularly full and so are only advertised when they do occasionally become available. The halls are used for sport, dance and music classes, theatre rehearsals, film screenings, public meetings, conferences, gigs, family fun-days, private parties, and within reason whatever else you can imagine. Meeting rooms are suitable for one-off or regular group meetings and we have affordable shared office space for longer-term use by community organizations. Artists and musicians rent the studios.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities Day to day management of KPC office Administration and coordination of KPC hall and studio bookings Responsible for implementing health and safety & fire safety procedures and for the maintenance and safe working of the building equipment as well as scheduling minor maintenance tasks Invoicing of all, or the bulk of all, hall and studio lets. Working closely with Finance Admin to ensure all invoicing up to date at end of each month. Day to day coordination of projects and project workers and liaise with Finance Admin to supervise project budgets. Management of funded programmes of activity, including supervising and managing sessional staff. Preparation of reports to Development Director and programme funders. Developing the role of KPC including assisting with funding applications and delivery of KPC programmes Preparation of Board reports and papers working with Development Director Communication with users, the local community and other stakeholders.

Terms and Conditions Period of contract: 12 months with possibility to extend Start date: From 1 st July.
