Marketing Prospectus ACUA is the association for institutions of higher education in the U.S. and across the globe with internal audit departments. Founded in 958, we are the indispensable resource for education, knowledge exchange, best practices and networking for higher education auditing, compliance and risk management professionals. ACUA focuses solely on higher education. We provide members with specialized training, information and resources to assist with performing financial, operational and information systems audits, evaluating internal controls, investigating fraud, identifying trends in regulatory matters and conducting risk assessments that are specific to colleges and universities. Midyear The ACUA Midyear is designed as a 2.5 day intensive course in which participants select one of five or more tracks on which to focus. Tracks typically focus on topics such as Fraud, Compliance, Audit Essentials, IT, or training on audit software. The Midyear often draws more staff auditors than the Annual, but it also beneficial for auditors at all levels. The mailing list renter agrees that in utilizing ACUA s membership list, he/she will not disclose, transfer, duplicate, reproduce or retain any portion of the list in any form, by photocopying, entering into a database, or otherwise duplicating by any means. The mailing list renter agrees to reimburse ACUA for all costs which ACUA may incur in enjoining unauthorized parties from using the membership list in all cases where such unauthorized parties gained access to the membership through the renter listed or any of the renter s agents or employees. The mailing list renter agrees ACUA will have the right to monitor the use of the membership and conference attendee list. Signature indicates acceptance of the above conditions and constitutes a contract between ACUA and the above stated mailing list renter. Focus Groups ACUA offers companies the ability to ask for the participation of our members in focus groups during our Midyear and Annual s. $2,500 session at Midyear or Annual Focus groups must be scheduled so that they are not in conflict with other conference sessions or activities. Groups may be scheduled during lunch or before or after the conclusion of educational sessions each day. Fees do not include any amenities other than meeting space. Food and beverage, audiovisual equipment, etc. are the responsibility of the company holding the focus group. ACUA will distribute flyers or provide an attendee mailing list to assist the company with soliciting participants for the focus group.
