97,98, 99, 100...Yeah! Last Friday, Year 1/2 completed their count up to celebrate 100 days of school. The day began with students making their own hundred day party hat. Children sourced and brought in their own collections of 100 objects. These ranged from cotton buds to rocks to tiny teddies and smarties, We counted all the collections to find we had brought in 4,600 objects in total. WOW! We completed activities involving the number 100. The day finished with the eating of 100's of smarties on a chocolate cake. We have certainly learnt a lot in 100 days. I wonder how much more we can cram into our little brains??
