We are always looking for interesting articles to put in the newsletter each month, so if you have a bit of trivia, some exciting news or you or a friend are celebrating a special birthday or anniversary please let us know. Morning tea and lunch provided Cost: $8.00 for lunch or $12.00 if craft kit is used. Please feel free to bring along craft you are doing at home. All welcome. Specialist Bus to Tamworth: 3rd Tuesday of each month Leaves HACC Centre 8.30am picking up around QUIRINDI WERRIS CREEK & CURRABUBULA. Seats are available on the bus, if you wish to go please ring any of the HACC Centre to put your name on the list. Cost: $10.00 Returns between 3.00pm and 3.30pm When making Doctors appointments for that day please make them between 10.00am and 1.00pm. Ladies Luncheon RSL Club: Held on 1st Wednesday each month.. Come along and enjoy a meal with good company. Cost: $6.50 for meal.. Transport is available for all of the above if required. Please remember to ring the HACC Office to put your name on the list for any excursions or outings even if you go every time Social Committee Meeting: 10th Quirindi HACC Centre commencing 2.00 p.m. Men s Luncheon: 12th 2nd Wednesday of each month Commencing at p.m. Lunch at own cost. Carer s Support Group Meeting: Wednesday 26th commencing at 2.00 p.m. TRANSPORT - Transport is available for medical appointments for HACC Eligible Clients. Cost varies according to destination. Please contact Quirindi HACC Office for more information or to book transport. If you require urgent transport for a medical appointment and the HACC Office is unattended, please ring Oxley Community Transport in Tamworth on Client Information and Confidentiality Your information will only be shared with other service providers with your informed consent. You will usually be asked to give consent in writing. In some cases verbal consent can be given over the telephone. You and/or your advocate have the right to withdraw your consent to the release of information at any time. You and/or your advocate have the right to access your information held by the Quirindi HACC Service. Your information is held secure at all times For any information on any of the HACC Services please contact Kay or Jeanette on or call in at the HACC Office at Cnr. Station & Dalley Streets Quirindi. If for some reason you are not satisfied with, or you have a question about the service you are receiving, or you wish to make a complaint, please contact Quirindi HACC Coordinator Kay Wheeler on HACC Office Hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm. There are carers on the bus each Thursday to assist you with shopping Cost: $4.00 Bookings: Phone Kay Wheeler on Wednesday afternoons between 2pm & 4pm on Meals on Wheels and Food Service This Service is available to residents of Liverpool Plains Shire. Meals are delivered in town five days a week. Frozen meals to outlying areas are delivered once a week. For more information about this Service Phone the HACC office on Premer Bus to Tamworth This Service runs every second month, on a Tuesday and goes to TAMWORTH for special appointments, Hydrotherapy Pool and shopping. Bus leaves PREMER approx 9.00am. The bus will pick up at SPRING RIDGE, WERRIS CREEK & CURRABUBULA for bookings on this service Phone: Robyn Douglas at Premer on Cost: $12.00 to all who celebrate in March 2014 We hope you enjoy your special day Congratulations to one of our Volunteer Drivers John Tickle and his wife Jeanette, who will be celebrating their 45th Wedding Anniversary on the 8th March. John and Jeanette will be spending time in Nambucca to recognise this very special occasion.
