Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will be responsible for the marketing and awareness levels of the Perth Arena s events, functions and conferences while providing support for the Arena s commercial programme. Some of the main responsibilities in this role include: Developing and maintaining relationships with all key media including Agencies, PR and Radio. Creating and implementing of all marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Assisting with the design and production of sales presentations. Coordinating all key marketing activities of the Perth Arena to include pre-opening and launch of the venue. To be the successful candidate you will: 2 + years of experience in a similar role. MANAGER POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for the marketing and awareness levels of Perth Arena s events, functions, conferences while providing support for the Perth Arena s commercial programme. MANAGER SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Understand and be capable of maintaining social media communications through Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and any other social media outlet that becomes appropriate. Coordinate communications to nominated databases and organisations either by direct mail or email. Must have strong communication skills, attention to detail and a flair for marketing that will drive awareness and new business to the venue Boast organisational skills that will arrange advertising placement, update databases, directory listings and various marketing activities. Maintain the Arena s photographic and video archive. Arrange photographers for events and Arena activities as and when required. Coordinate the selection and purchase of gifts for visiting artists and guests as and when required. Maintain the presentation of all memorabilia throughout the Arena. Coordinate the Arena s branding to maintain a consistent look to all stationery, uniforms, electronic mail and any other item used to identify the Arena. Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown Gather market intelligence Continually identify new business opportunities Excellent communication skills Maintain integrity and reputation of the Perth Arena.
