Mountain Bikers Of Santa Cruz (MBoSC) is proud to announce the 4th Annual Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival taking place April 13th and 14th, 2013. The Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival (SCMBF) is the premier mountain biking event for Santa Cruz County. Featuring an impressive array of cycling inspired events and resources, the festival will impassion our local community, bringing world- renowned professional riders and vendors together for one memorable weekend. The festival continues to grow year after year with the amazing support of our sponsors, the community, and our volunteers. In just our third year, the 2012 Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival attracted over 6,000 attendees, 200 athletes, 200 kids rodeo participants, 70 sponsors, and 150 volunteers a 50% increase in attendance and athlete participation over the previous year. We are looking forward to continuing the growth and success of the Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival in 2013. About the Festival The mission of the Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival is to celebrate mountain biking in Santa Cruz County by bringing people together to participate and spectate in competitive and recreational mountain bike events, and a festival to bring the community together to advocate an active outdoor lifestyle and promote the world class mountain biking facilities and riders in Santa Cruz County. The festival has had amazing success and growth in a very short time. In just its third year, the 2012 Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival attracted over 6000 attendees, 200 athletes, and 200 kids rodeo attendees. Through these festivals, MBoSC has raised over $25,000 to support bike projects in Santa Cruz County. With continuing positive feedback about the festival from sponsors, the City of Santa Cruz and Aptos, the community, volunteers, professional and amateur event participants - MBoSC wants to continue to build upon the success of the Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival in 2013.
