ONLINE PROGRAM LISTING INTERFACE OVERVIEW In an effrt t streamline the prcess t maintain accurate database recrds and website directry infrmatin, the American Physical Therapy Assciatin (APTA) designed an nline prgram listing interface prtal. This prtal allws residency and fellwship prgrams t update relevant infrmatin previusly cllected n the prgram s accreditatin applicatin and annual reprts. Once updated by the prgram, the infrmatin will autmatically synch with APTA s database as well as with the ABPTRFE website thereby prviding an immediate update t the prgram s directry cntent. Please ensure yu update the prgram infrmatin at least annually r whenever a change ccurs as maintaining accurate and current infrmatin n the ABPTRFE website is vital. LOGIN Each residency and fellwship prgram has a unique lgin and passwrd. This infrmatin is prvided t the prgram upn cnfirmatin f receipt f the prgram s accreditatin applicatin. Lgging In A link t the Online Prgram Listing Interface is lcated n the ABPTRFE website under the Fr Prgrams sectin f the website. Upn clicking n the Online Prgram Listing Interface link, yu will be directed t lg int the APTA website. UPDATING DATA Once lgged int the system, the prgram will be directed t a welcme page. Alng the tp f the page, yu will see the name f the prgram directr and the prgram data page currently lgged int. Fr thse prgram directrs that versee mre than ne residency/fellwship prgram, please ensure yu are updating data in the crrect prgram. On the left side f the page, there is a directry f sectins within the site. Prgrams are required t maintain accurate data within all sectins f the prtal. Fr additinal assistance in cmpleting data fields, infrmatin regarding the intent f the field will be identified by clicking the red questin mark lcated t the right f the field if applicable. After cmpleting each page f the nline prgram listing interface, please click the Save buttn. If the system detects errrs in the infrmatin prvided, the prgram will receive an errr message after clicking Save. Please address these errrs and click the Save message again. General Infrmatin There are 3 sectins within the General Infrmatin page f the prtal: Prgram Infrmatin: This sectin is restricted t APTA staff updating nly. Prgram Address: Please use the address that all crrespndence t the prgram shuld be directed t. Cntact Infrmatin: Please insert the cntact infrmatin fr the individual identified as prgram directr. If the prgram chses t have a different individual listed n the prgram s directry n the ABPTRFE website fr ptential applicants t cntact regarding inquires abut the prgram, please insert that individuals cntact infrmatin under the Website Directry Cntact sectin. Otherwise, if the prgram directr is t be listed n the prgram s directry n the ABPTRFE website, the Website Directry Cntact sectin des nt need t be cmpleted. participating in RF-PTCAS, the infrmatin will be displayed n the prgram s RF-PTCAS directry n the ABPTRFE website. The first field requires a prgram t identify if they are a multi-site prgram. Fr the definitin f a multi-site prgram versus a single-site r multi-facility prgram, please review the Accreditatin Handbk n the ABPTRFE website. Next, the prgram will be required t identify themselves as either a part-time prgram, full-time prgram, r bth. Fr the definitin f a part-time versus full-time prgram, please review the Accreditatin Handbk n the ABPTRFE website. After identifying the prgram as either part-time r full-time, please cmplete the fields in the respective detailed infrmatin sectin. Applicatin Details This page shuld ONLY be cmpleted fr thse prgrams utilizing RF-PTCAS. The infrmatin cllected n this page will be used t create the prgram s RF-PTCAS prgram directry n the ABPTRFE website. There are 4 sectins within the Applicatin Details page f the prtal: General Applicatin Infrmatin: Prgram Descriptin: This field allws prgram t market themselves t ptential applicants highlighting the prgram and any unique pprtunities available t participants. Applicatin Infrmatin: Prvide the prgram s applicatin deadline date, when the prgram will send applicants their admissin decisins, and the start date fr the prgram. Fr thse prgrams with mre than ne applicatin deadline, please cmplete the subsequent fields utlining the details fr thse additinal deadlines.
