1 SEMA Memrial Schlarship Fund Schlarship & Lan Frgiveness Prgrams SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Schlarship Prgram T be eligible fr this award, yu must: be a U.S. citizen enrlled in a full-time prgram f study at an accredited university, cllege r vcatinal/technical prgram in the United States. If currently attending a fur-year accredited university r cllege yu must have cmpleted a minimum f 50 credit hurs r If currently attending a tw-year accredited cmmunity cllege r vcatinal/technical prgram yu must have cmpleted a minimum f 25 credit hurs have a minimum 2.5 grade pint average be pursuing studies leading t a career in the autmtive aftermarket r related field remain enrlled as a full-time student fr the first full semester fllwing the award Nte: If yu are currently a high schl senir, yu are nt eligible t apply. When can I apply? December 1, 2010 thrugh April 1, 2011 Hw d I get an applicatin? Schlarships will be awarded annually in increments f $1,000 t $4,000 fr the fllwing categries: Graduate studies ($1,000 - $2,000 awards) 4-year studies ($1,000-2,000 awards) Tw-year vcatinal r technical prgram ($1,000 awards) Member dependent r emplyee f SEMA r PWA ($1,000-2,000 awards) Lan frgiveness ($1,000 awards) Tp student ($4,000 award) Students may reapply each year as lng as they cntinue t meet the eligibility criteria. The schlarships are t be applied t tuitin, fees, bks, supplies and equipment required fr curse lad. Institutins must be accredited tw-year r fur-year clleges/universities in the United States. A student may transfer frm ne institutin t anther and retain the award. If I am awarded the Ohi Technical Cllege award, am I eligible t win an additinal schlarship? N. If yu are awarded the OTC schlarship, yu are NOT eligible fr an additinal SEMA Schlarship.

An independent selectin cmmittee will evaluate the applicatins and select the winners based n: Academic achievements and recrds, Extracurricular and cmmunity invlvement, Wrk experience Essay cntent, and Recmmendatins Fr the Ohi Technical Cllege award, yu must be planning n attending OTC as a full-time student in the fall.
