4 Overview The Optimal Payments Magent extensin allws ecmmerce businesses t securely accept and prcess nline payments using Optimal s NETBANX payment gateway and services. The integratin is easy t implement and prvides the ultimate in payment prcessing capabilities, fraud management, and reprting. The Optimal Payments extensin uses Silent Pst integratin t the merchant s website. During checkut, payment infrmatin is entered n the merchant website and then transmitted securely via Silent Pst fr prcessing t the NETBANX payment gateway. The custmer remains n the merchant s website at all times allwing the merchant t manage the custmer experience. When the custmer clicks n the Pay buttn, payment data is transmitted directly t NETBANX using a PCI-cmpliant prcess withut accessing any merchant servers. This integratin significantly reduces PCI cmpliance requirements and liability as all f the credit card infrmatin is prcessed in Optimal Payments Level 1 PCI cmpliant envirnment and servers leaving n sensitive custmer payment infrmatin stred lcally n merchant servers. Thrugh the Optimal integratin merchants als have the ptin t enable ThreatMetrix fraud detectin and management services. ThreatMetrix wrks by cllecting relevant data abut the custmer and the rder, and validating this infrmatin during the checkut. Fully integrated int the NETBANX payment gateway, enabling the ThreatMetrix ptin will allw merchants t autmatically hld and flag suspicius rders, drastically reducing any fraud ccurrences. Depending n the Scre returned by ThreatMetrix an rder can be held and flagged r altgether denied during the checkut. And added benefit fr merchants is that this functinality t hld and release rders as well as issuing credits, refunds r cancelling rders can all be managed directly thrugh the Magent. supprt@ptimalpayments.cm Page 4 f 12

5 Installatin The Demac Media AffiliateTractin Extensin Suite is available nw n Magent Cnnect as well as the Demac Media Prduct Page. Fr the latest versin cmpatibility, please see the Magent Cnnect listing at: All individual mdules will be bundled int the main install with the ptin t enable r disable as required. The install f this extensin (via FTP) is the same as the majrity f mdules that are available n Magent Cnnect. Fr the particular package Optimal.1.5.zip yu will need t: Extract the files inside the 0.1.5/ directry in yur Magent rt. This can be dne with an FTP prgram such as FileZilla. Flush yur Magent cache under System > Cache Management > Flush Cache Magent Cache. Re-lgin t the Magent administrative backend. 9 ThreatMetrix Cnfiguratin ThreatMetrix is extremely easy t setup the nly infrmatin required is the Organizatin Id which can be btained directly frm the Optimal Payments supprt team at supprt@ptimalpayments.cm r yur accunt manager. Please nte that ThreatMetrix is a third party service prvided by Optimal Payments and will include extra fees utside f yur standard transactin fees. 10 Trubleshting FAQ Q: I want t be able t accept and charge bth CAD and USD, hw d I d this? A: As with all Magent payment mdules, the gateway is nly cnfigurable at the WEBSITE scpe. If yu want t cllect and charge in specific currencies, there will need t be a WEBSITE stre scpe fr each. Q: ThreatMetrix is nt sending any infrmatin t Optimal Payments. A: This might happen if the ThreatMetrix tracking cde is nt being included prperly, the mst cmmn reasn fr this issue is that the stre template des nt prperly extend the default theme r that yu have a third party checkut extensin. T slve this issues please cntact supprt@ptimalpayments.cm t lk int ur supprt ptins. Q: I d nt have an API Key. A: Please cntact supprt@ptimalpayments.cm and request an API key fr yur silent pst integratin. Yu will need t specify yur merchant accunt number, yur merchant name, and yu must be an authrized cntact n the accunt. Q: Where can I see my transactins in Optimal Payments? A: Yu can access the Optimal Payments back end at please use the username and passwrd that was prvided with yur merchant accunt infrmatin.
