SPONSOR EARTH DAY CONTEST
What is the Earth Day Art Contest? Developed by Air Alliance Houston and produced in partnership with Skyline Art Services, the Earth Day Art Contest encourages students to show what they see when they think of clean air, water, and land. Winning artwork presents a vision of how we can honor, celebrate, and protect our environment. Last year, children in fifty-one Houston-area schools presented their own environmental visions in wonderful artistic renditions for the art contest. Winning works of art are framed and auctioned live at Skyline Art Services. Winning artwork is also featured in a yearlong tour of Houston. The contest is held in conjunction with Earth Day Houston, the Houston area s premier celebration of our planet, which celebrates its 10th Anniversary on April 11, 2015. The Earth Day Art Contest Features: Students in third through twelfth grade. Awards for overall winner; special categories; and grade-level first, second, and third.
