1 Administrative Assistant Strategic Government Resources Position Profile SGR is looking for a professional and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our innovative and dynamic team! Who We Are Strategic Government Resources (SGR) exists to help local governments become more successful by Recruiting, Assessing, and Developing Innovative, Collaborative, Authentic Leaders. The acronym RADICAL not only highlights our six business lines it also captures the constructive tension of two different meanings of the word radical that defines SGR s mission. The first meaning is to return to the roots while the second meaning is to be out on the leading edge. SGR practices and advocates a Servant Leadership philosophy which returns to the roots of authentic leadership through its emphasis on healthy relationships. This builds a foundation of trust that allows leaders to be out on the leading edge of innovative thinking without leaving their team behind. Assessment SGR introduced the I-Opt psychometric assessment tool to local governments. SGR is partnering with an innovative leading-edge provider of role fit assessments for candidate recruitments, and we are currently pilot testing the assessments with a select number of cities. About the Position The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting all organizational business lines, with the recruitment business line in particular. Assisting the Executive Search team members with research, contact database management, candidate sourcing, ad placements, creating briefing books and PowerPoint presentations, and monitoring multiple bid notification systems will be priorities. Additional responsibilities include answering phones, copying, printing and binding materials, processing mail, filing, preparing and managing shipments of all sizes, coordinating pick-up and delivery with commercial delivery and freight services, ordering office supplies, and other administrative tasks as needed. Ideal Candidate SGR seeks an Administrative Assistant who is excited about becoming a contributing member of our exceptional and diverse team. Someone who can embrace our unique and flexible culture and is willing to think outside the box will be successful. The person selected for the position should be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently, and on multiple projects. The new Administrative Assistant should have excellent communication skills and detail oriented. Flexibility is important as priorities can shift rapidly in the course of a day. A team player who is willing to pitch in regardless of the task is ideal.

6 Education & Experience The chosen candidate must have a high school diploma and 3-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or similar position. Some college hours are preferred, and a Bachelor s degree is a plus. The selected candidate should be proficient in office technology, including cloud-based storage, and software programs including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook in particular.
