5 CAMPUS LIFE Ringling Cares About You Living away from home and experiencing the independence and responsibility of college life is an important part of the PreCollege experience. Accommodations are single-gendered and doubleoccupancy residence halls. RA staff provides live-in supervision and guidance throughout your PreCollege stay. Academic buildings and campus resources are within walking distance to student housing. Art Meets Life Planned social activities give you time to create memories and forge lasting friendships. Off-campus field trips to local museums, beaches, entertainment activities, and a community service project offer an authentic look at the breadth of the college experience. Health and Fitness A fully equipped fitness center, on-site basketball court, and soccer games on the student center deck let you blow off steam and stay fit. 6 CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESS Student Exhibition and Precollege Awards PreCollege culminates in a student exhibition and open house for family and friends and a final certificate ceremony where students are recognized for their accomplishments. $30,000 in Scholarship Achievement Awards Four top students with the highest PreCollege academic achievement, and two students recognized for outstanding PreCollege Student Life Leadership are each awarded $5,000 scholarship toward their first-year tuition at Ringling College of Art and Design.
