4 Overview Welcme t the Cisc Smart Business Prtal Business Adapter fr Vertafre AMS 360. This adapter and installatin guide has been made specifically fr the AMS 360 applicatin. The Cisc UC platfrm extends its reach by adding business value and integratin with the Vertafre applicatin. The Cisc UC System and Smart Business Prtal empwer business by aligning strategic gals with daily agency ffice activities. The prtal reads the data already in yur Vertafre applicatin and presents a wealth f infrmatin t the user thrugh a simple inbund call ID match r manual search. Yu shuld already be familiar and cmfrtable with all capabilities f the Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins System and related Cisc technlgies required as a base platfrm. Yu will als need at least a minimum f expertise with the Micrsft Windws systems supprting this installatin. This guide will nt take the place f the vice system expert, but will assist with the Smart Business Prtal related installatin and cnfiguratin tasks. 5 CSBP Prerequisites Befre installing the Cisc Smart Business Prtal, several prerequisites are listed belw. Micrsft Active Directry membership is a perquisite that enables single sign-n, hwever the AMS 360 Business Adapter may be used in wrkgrup envirnments as well. Prerequisites are classified as Systems Prerequisites, Previus Versins, Client Machine Requirements and Smart Business Prtal Server Requirements. Envirnment Active Directry - If using AD All machines must be n the same dmain Running in Native Mde Wrkgrup Envirnment If using a wrkgrup Every machine must be in the same wrkgrup T check this right click n My Cmputer>Prperties>Cmputer Name T make changes click n My Cmputer>Prperties>Cmputer Name>Change and select Wrkgrup. Rename the wrkgrup n each cmputer t the same name. All users-names and passwrds must be duplicated n the machine hsting CSBP. T d this g t Start>Cntrl Panel>User Accunts>User Accunts>Add (r Create a new accunt) t add user-names and passwrds that matches thse fr each client machine that will cnnect t the CSBP. If using Windws XP SP2 r higher, passwrds must nt be blank Fast User Switching Cmpatibility must be turned ff n the machine hsting CSBP web services if this machine is running Windws XP Prfessinal. Scrll dwn t find Internet Infrmatin Services (IIS), check the bx next t it and select next. Fllw the Wizard t install IIS. If nt using windws XP SP2, check fr presence f Micrsft Data Access Cmpnent (MDAC) 2.8. Installatin instructins included belw. Check fr Internet access and Internet Explrer 6.x, 7.x. SQL Express 2005 fr persnalizatin Installatin instructins included belw. Install with ptins fr Windws Integrated Authenticatin and user authenticatin. Prepare the Cisc Smart Business Prtal Server T prepare this machine the fllwing sftware must be installed in this rder:.net Framewrk 2.0;.Net Framewrk 3.5; MDAC 2.8; SQL 2005 Express..Net and MDAC: Install.Net Framewrk 2.0,.Net Framewrk 3.5 and MDAC 2.8. 10 On the Registratin Infrmatin screen uncheck the Hide advanced cnfiguratin ptins bx. On the Instance Name screen the default selectin will be Named Instance and the name SQLExpress. 12 On the Cnfiguratin Optins screen select the Add user t the SQL Server Administratr rle SQL 2005 Express Management Suite: Install frm the fllwing dwnlad address using all defaults. 94b8-5a0f62bf7796&DisplayLang=en Cnfigure AMS Update Tables and Database: Create a flder called AMS Updates at the C:\ Open the zip flder AMSPrcessUpdate.exe.zip (Included in yur installatin package) and cpy the included files int the new directry just created. Files included are: ams.sql AmsBridgeDB.sql AMSPrcessUpdate.exe ASMPrcessUpdate.exe.cnfig Create anther flder called AMSbridgeDB at the C:\ NOTE: If ding a reinstall, make sure this directry is empty. Delete any existing.mdf and.ldf files. Open C:\AMS Update\AMSBridgeDB.sql file in Ntepad Change the paths t C:\ASMBridgeDB as nted belw Save the file and exit: File>Save Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 12 f 42

13 Open up a cmmand prmpt: Start>Run>cmd type cd c:\ams Updates and press enter type sqlcmd.exe Slcalhst\sqlexpress iamsbridgedb.sql and press enter type sqlcmd.exe Slcalhst\sqlexpress iams.sql and press enter type exit and press enter Open SQL Management Suite: Start>All Prgrams>Micrsft SQL Server 2005>SQL Server Management Studi Express and select Cnnect when prmpted. NOTE: if n server name is displayed select the dwn arrw and brwse fr the server\instance yu just created <servername\sqlexpress> Lgin When the Studi pens expand the Security file in the left hand clumn Right click n Lgins and select New Lgin... When the Lgin - New screen pens d the fllwing Lgin Name type AMSUser Select SQL Server authenticatin and type the fllwing passwrd - cisc - (all lwer case) Uncheck Enfrce passwrd plicy (User must change passwrd at next lgin & Enfrce passwrd expiratin will autmatically be unselected.) 14 Select AMSbridge in the Default database windw. Select OK DataBase In the left hand clumn expand Database>AMSbridge>Security Right click n Users and select New Users Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 14 f 42

15 On the Database User screen cmplete the fllwing User Name: AMSUser Select the bx t the right n the Lgin Name line In the Select Lgin bx select Brwse The Brwse fr Object bx appears. 16 Cre FTP The Cre FTP applicatin allws phne numbers t be dwnladed frm AMS fr custmer call matching (inbund) and custmer lk-ups (utbund). Befre installing this cmpnent and each time yu add a new branch yu must cmplete the fllwing steps: Cntact the AMS Datacenter with branch number Crdinate and cnfirm with AMS the date fr the first data extractin Cnfirm that the branch is n the schedule Get a user name and passwrd fr the SFTP client. Once yu have cmpleted these steps yu may start the Cre FTP installatin as fllws: Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 16 f 42

17 Install Cre FTP LE 2.1 : free versin frm the fllwing dwnlad site using defaults. Once installed pen Cre FTP: Start>All Prgrams>Cre FTP> Cre FTP Lite Select N when asked if yu want t make CreFTP yur default FTP client. Select N when asked if yu want t use ntepad.exe t edit all ASCII files. Yu may use Ntepad, but yu dn t need t make this yur default chice. When yu first pen this site the Site Manager bx will als pen. Select Clse t get t the main screen. Once pen select Quick Cnnect (the lightning blt icn in the upper left) When the Quick Cnnect bx pens type the fllwing in the Hstname bx: secureftp.amsservices.cm. In Username type branchuser (the name given t yu by AMS) In Passwrd type Passwrd (the case sensitive passwrd given t yu by AMS) Make sure Prt = 21, Timeut= 60 and Retries = 60 Check AUTH SSL Select Cnnect When the Certificate Infrmatin screen pps up select Always Accept Open Quick Cnnect (Lightening Blt) Select Add Site Type amssite (all lwer case) in the Enter bx and select OK. Select Cancel in the Quick Cnnect bx. Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 17 f 42

18 Once dne with Quick cnnect duble click the AMS Updates Flder in the left hand clumn f the main screen t create the prper path. (NOTE: this shuld be the same flder t which yu cpied the AMSPrcessUpdate.exe file) Select File>Exit. Cnfigure Parameters fr the AMSPrcessUpdate.exe: Open the AMSPrcessUpdate.exe.cnfig file fund in C:\AMS Update. Use Ntepad, r ther ASCII editr. Change the cnnectinstring value= statement t lcalhst\sqlexpress (line 4). Change the agencynumber value= statement t yur agency number (line 6). Change the sftpcmmand value= statement t reflect the path where the crecmd.exe file is lcated. Mst likely yu will nly need t change the drive letter frm D: t C: (line 7). 19 Create a Windws task t update the phne database: T create and schedule a new task t update the phne database: Duble-click Cntrl Panel>Scheduled Task>Add Scheduled Task t start the Scheduled Task Wizard, and then click Next in the first dialg bx. The next dialg bx displays a list f prgrams that are installed n yur cmputer, either as part f the Windws XP perating system, r as a result f sftware installatin. Click Brwse and select the flder C:\AMS Updates\AMSPrcessUpdate.exe and click Open. Type a name fr the task, and then chse the Weekly ptin Click Next, specify the infrmatin abut the day and time t run the task; Day = Sunday, Every _ Weeks = 1 and Time = 5:00 AM Type the name and passwrd f the user wh is assciated with this task. Make sure that yu chse a user with sufficient permissins t run the prgram. By default, the wizard selects the name f the user wh is currently lgged n. Click Next, and then click Finish after yu verify the chices that yu have made Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 19 f 42

20 Cisc Web Service Execute the Cisc SBP WebService.msi file n yur applicatin server. By default the web service virtual directry is named CiscService. If yu wuld like t change this, yu can d s here. In mst instances, yu shuld nt need t change any f the default installatin ptins. If yu make changes t the virtual directry yu will als update yur Smart Business Prtal cnfiguratin later in this guide (Editing the Server Cnfiguratin). Web Applicatin Execute the Cisc SBP AMS WebApplicatin.msi n yur Cisc Smart Business Prtal applicatin server. By default the web applicatin virtual directry is named CiscWeb. 22 AMS 360 Business Adapter Execute the Cisc SBP AMSAdapter.msi file n yur applicatin server. By default the AMS 360 adapter virtual directry is named CiscAMS. If yu wuld like t change this, yu can d s here. In mst instances, yu shuld nt need t change any f the ptins in a default installatin. If yu d make changes t the virtual directry yu will als need t update yur Smart Business Prtal cnfiguratin. Nw yu ve installed the Cisc Web Service, Cisc Applicatin Service, and the Cisc AMS 360 Business Adapter, yu are nw ready t mdify the included Diagnstic Tls and Server Cnfiguratin Utility. 23 Diagnstic Tl The included diagnstic tl checks and validates yur installatin. Use this tl t check server service cnfiguratin settings and the business adapter functinality. Using the Tl Web Service Tab Select Start>All Prgrams>Cisc> Smart Business Prtal>Server Cnfiguratin Tls> Diagnstic Tl. The service address text bx shuld be set t the URL fr the web service, the same ne that is entered int the Cisc Smart Business Prtal Client. By default it will be: Replace lcalhst with the machine name f the server where yu installed the SBP web services. Optinally yu may use the fully qualified name r IP address. NOTE: If the SBP client fails due t security warnings, use the machine name nly. Click the Run Test buttn. The tl will run a series f tests t ensure that yu have cnfigured the web service crrectly. If yu get a N errrs fund! message, select the Adapters tab. If after running this tl yu receive a message that the cnfiguratin file cannt be fund, then click the Open Cnfig File buttn at the tp f the Diagnstic Tl applicatin and select and edit the apprpriate app.cnfig file (by default this shuld be c:\inetpub\cnfiguratin\app.cnfig). 24 Adapters Tab Cisc Smart Business Prtal Installatin & Cnfiguratin Select Adapter: click dwn arrw and select the apprpriate adapter. Service Address: Replace lcalhst with the machine name f the server where yu installed the SBP web services. Optinally yu may use the fully qualified name r IP address. NOTE: If the SBP client fails due t security warnings, use the machine name nly. Accunt Name Search Text: enter a valid searchable name frm AMS 360. Select Run Test: If test with SBP server name is successful mve n t next step. If test with CSBP server name is NOT successful a DNS issue may be present. G t the Server Cnfiguratin utility sectin belw t prperly set yur DSN and cnnectin string in the Server Address field NOTE: Success fr bth the Web Services and Adapters tests indicates the AMS 360 Business Adapter is prperly cnfigured. 25 Trubleshting: If yu get errrs, check the errr, and pen the Server Cnfiguratin Tl t mdify any incrrect paths as described by the errr. Save yur changes. Re-pen the Diagnstic tl, r simply relad the cnfiguratin file by clicking the Open Cnfig File buttn n the tlbar. Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 25 f 42

26 In the example belw, the errr shws the Business Adapter Web service has an incrrect server name. In this case, the AMS 360 Business Adapter server address is incrrect and the listed server desn t exist. The server name shuld be crrected t pint t the actual CSBP server. Replacing lcalhs with lcalhst r the actual CSBP server name shuld fix the belw example. The Service Address values are stred in the app.cnfig file which is cnfigured using the Cisc Server Cnfiguratin Utility. Fr the crrect Server Address, please refer t the Server Cnfiguratin utility in the fllwing sectin. Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 26 f 42

27 Editing the Server Cnfiguratin Settings Server cnfiguratin settings are stred in the app.cnfig file l lcated in yur server s cnfiguratin directry (c:\inetpub\cnfiguratin). There are tw methds fr setting prtal cnfiguratins: Use the Server Cnfiguratin Utility Start>All Prgrams>Cisc>Smart Business Prtal>Server Cnfiguratin Tls>Server Cnfiguratin Utility Manually edit the app.cnfig file use find and replace t ensure all values are updated Using the Server Cnfiguratin Utility The Server Cnfiguratin Utility allws yu t custmize all prtal settings. There are fur main areas r tabs in this tl: Server Settings; Adapters; Views; and Perfrmance Cunters. Server Settings Tab The Server Settings tab allws yu t change the fllwing values: ACTIONS: Web Service URL: This field defines the URL used t cnnect t the Smart Business Prtal Web Service. Page Cunt: Yu can limit the search results. The Server Settings prvides a feature t limit the number f search via the page cunts setting (acceptable values are 1-50). Web Applicatin Lg: Lcatin and mde Web Service Lg: Lcatin and mde Replace lcalhst with the machine name f the server where yu installed the SBP web services. Optinally yu may use the fully qualified name r IP address. NOTE: If the SBP client fails due t security warnings, use the machine name nly. Select the Save Server Settings buttn. 28 Adapters Tab The Adapters tab allws yu cnfigure the prper adapter, as well as its supprting database. These are critical steps that must be cmpleted accurately t allw the Cisc Smart Business Prtal t functin. NOTE: Use can als use this tl t remve unused adapters that may be included. Fr example, if Great Plains, Micrsft CRM, r Archtics Adapters are present and nt used, they can be remved. Adapters Actins: Chse the adapter yu wish t remve in the Adapter windw Select the Delete Adapter buttn. In the Adapter windw select the apprpriate adapter. The remaining fields will fill with default infrmatin fr that adapter. In the Adapter URL field Replace lcalhst with the machine name f the server where yu installed the SBP web services. Optinally yu may use the fully qualified name r IP address. NOTE: If the SBP client fails due t security warnings, use the machine name nly. Fr example, if yu are editing the AMS adapter, yur URL shuld be either: ( AMS web services server name/ciscams/amsadapter.asmx) ( web services IP address/ciscams/amsadapter.asmx) Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 28 f 42

30 The View Path Settings sectin describes the lcatin f the individual Webparts fr the AMS 360 adapter. T edit them: Yu must select a view frm the Views, bx abve. Chse Receptin, Prducer, r Accunting. Edit the URL lcatin with the machine name f the server where yu installed the SBP web services. Optinally yu may use the fully qualified name r IP address. NOTE: If the SBP client fails due t security warnings, use the machine name nly. NOTE: d nt change the name field; nly the URL Select Save Paths after editing each view. The Adapter Path Settings defines the lcatin f AMS 360 data used t ppulate each individual Webpart: Yu must select a view frm the Views, windw abve. Chse Receptin, Prducer, r Accunting. Edit the URL lcatin t reflect the apprpriate address. Nte: d nt change the name field; nly the URL. IMPORTANT: If yu are using the newer database yu will have t change this URL. Typically this will mean changing...v t... v , but check fr the crrect path by lgging int AMS and cnfirming this infrmatin. Select Save Path after editing each view. Perfrmance Cunter The Perfrmance tab is nt applicable with the AMS 360 slutin. 31 If yu made changes t the default installatin name fr the Cisc Web Service, that will be the name yu use in the search and replace described belw. The servers IP address may be used as well. NOTE: If yu receive security warnings, yu shuld NOT use the server IP address, r fully qualified name. Using the Phne Number Prcessr Utility The Phne Number Prcessr (PNP) tl sets utbund dialing prperties fr the TAPI driver. Outbund click-t-dial functinality is dependent upn the successful cmpletin f this step. NOTE: This prtin must be cmpleted by the Cisc Vice Engineer. Fr additinal details n cnfiguring the Cisc SME TSP Integratin please refer t Appendix B UC 500 Installatin. There are tw tabs in this tl: Dial Cnfiguratin Regular Expressins. Dial Cnfiguratin This tab allws fr creating/mdifying/deleting dial plans. Changes are held in memry until the save dial buttn is press. An indicatr (bell) that dial plan has nt been save is displayed n the lwer right crner as shwn. After selecting the Save Plan buttn the icn will g away and the plan is written t the hard drive. 34 Preparing and Cnfiguring Web Parts The Cisc Smart Business Prtal prvides infrmatin within web parts. Mst f the infrmatin is read frm the AMS 360 applicatin hwever certain Web parts prvide additinal functinality beynd just reading frm AMS 360. Persnalizatin and the Launch Pad are examples f such features. Please refer t CSBP_AMS360_User Guide_v fr mre infrmatin n each web part. The infrmatin belw needs t be precnfigured prir t having the features available in the CSBP client. RSS Feed Reader Web Part: This web part will pen a pre-cnfigured RSS feed. The default is set t Insurance Jurnal at In rder t change the RSS feed the web address fr the new site needs t be changed in three separate files lcated at c:\inetpub\wwwrt\ciscamsweb. The files are: AccuntAMS.aspx AccuntRec.aspx AccuntAcc.aspx They are all similar and shuld be changed as in the fllwing figure Persnalizatin f Web Parts: In rder t imprve emplyee prductivity and efficiency, the prtal can be custmized. Each web part may be mved, placed r minimized. T cnfigure persnalizatin and enable, r disable: Create: Create a flder named App_Data at c:\inetpub\wwwrt\ciscamsweb\app_data (the default install lcatin fr the Cisc Web Applicatin install). Right click the flder and select Prperties>Security. Add ASPNET and Netwrk Service grups with the fllwing permissins: read & execute, read, list flder cntent, and write. Select Add> In the Enter the bject names t select bx enter ASPNET>OK. Check the permissins listed abve in the Allw clumn. Select OK Repeat this prcess fr NETWORK SERVICE. 35 Edit File t enable/disable persnalizatin: Mdify the default view file lcated n the applicatin server lcal directry at C:\Inetpub\wwwrt\CiscAMSWeb\web.cnfig. Open the Web.cnfig with a text editr like Ntepad. On line 17 < add key="persnalizatinenable" value="false"/> change false t true t enable persnalizatin Save the changes: File>Save. Exit Launch Pad Web Part The Launch Pad is a feature that is custmizable and allws the users t click t launch external websites r selected applicatins. T mdify the Launch Pad: Lcate: lcate the Links.xml file in C:\Inetpub\wwwrt\CiscAMSWeb\lib and pen in a simple text editr such as Ntepad.exe. Links.xml lists all URL links and icns that are referenced in the Launch Pad web part. NOTE: Icns are nt required, simple text hyperlinks is a minimum cnfiguratin. Mdify: lcate the URL yu want t change and edit the address accrdingly. Make changes nly t the infrmatin between the qutatin marks. Add URL: Cpy a line f cde beginning with <item url=... > and paste it t the existing list. Mdify the URL as necessary by editing the infrmatin within the qutatin marks n the line. Example: Here is the syntax fr the Ggle Search hyperlink <item url=" name="ggle Search" target="_blank" /> NOTE: Leave the target= _blank statement intact t launch the URL in a separate brwser. Withut this the URL will launch in the same windw, replacing the Prtal. Adding ICONs: T add icns t a URL add an image cmmand at the end f the URL string. It must be placed after the target= statement and befre the final /> characters. The image cmmand syntax is as fllws: Image= image URL. 36 Installing the Smart Business Prtal Client Installing the Client NOTE: All prerequisites must be cmpleted prir t installing the CSBP client sftware Install the client included in the AMS 360 Business Adapter package. Cisc CSBP Client.msi Fllw wizard instructins fr installatin. When Web Service URL message appears replace servername with the machine name f the server hsting web services. Optinally yu may use the fully qualified name r IP address. NOTE: If the SBP client fails due t security warnings, use the machine name nly. Cnfidential and Prprietary Page 36 f 42

37 On the Select Installatin Flder select the everyne radi buttn befre prceeding. Launch and Test Once installed the client will create a shrtcut n the desktp. Right-click n this icn and select Pin t Start Menu. Duble-click the desktp CSBP icn, r select Start>Cisc Smart Business Prtal. Select Client Settings and the fllwing cnfiguratin page will launch. In the Server windw replace lcalhst, r servername with the actual name f the server, r its IP address. Click the Test buttn. This shuld return a message which says Successfully cnnected t the server. 38 Settings Tab Cisc Smart Business Prtal Installatin & Cnfiguratin Click the Refresh buttn. This shuld lad all the apprpriate views int the view windw. The dial plan windw shuld als shw the dial plans created fr this adapter. Select the apprpriate ne. Select the TAPI Prvider tab and highlight the apprpriate Cisc line. Select OK NOTE: The first time these steps are perfrmed it may take a few minutes fr the prtal t restart. Subsequent restarts shuld be much faster. Yu may need t lgin after each time yu restart the prtal. Test cnfiguratins by searching fr a name r number that is in yur AMS 360 database. Test receiving a phne call. Test utbund dialing by duble-clicking n any number displayed n yur test subjects page. On the Cnfiguratin dialg, use the Settings tab t enter the fllwing: Server Field User Settings View Dial plan Lgging Lcatin Level Definitin Enter the name f the Server, r the full path t the Web service. If the server name is entered, the Windws Client assumes the default path. Befre cntinuing, click the Test buttn t attempt a cnnectin t the server. When the server is entered, the lists f available views and dial plans are ppulated frm the server. Select the apprpriate View frm the list f views presented in the selectin list. The views are cnfigured n the server and represent infrmatin frm the back-end. The Windws Client uses the selected view t determine what infrmatin t display when a line becmes active. Yu can click the Refresh buttn t update the list as needed. Select the mst apprpriate Dial Plan t use primarily t frmat numbers fr the click-t-dial functinality. The Dial Plan are cnfigured n the server Yu can change the way the applicatin lgs events. The user can select bth the lcatin f the lg file and the level f lgging desired. The lg file is a simple text file and any text editr culd be used t read the file. The lcatin selectr will be a text bx with a brwse buttn that launches the standard file picker dialg. The user can enter any path and file name as lng as he/she has permissins t write t the indicated directry. In the event that the user des nt have sufficient permissins, an errr dialg will be displayed, and the user must change the chsen directry The lgging level selectr will be a list f items, drp-dwn r therwise, in which nly ne ptin may be selected. 39 TAPI Prvider Tab The Windws Client applicatin will attempt t autmatically detect the apprpriate TAPI prvider t use fr telephny cmmunicatin. If the applicatin is unable t find an apprpriate prvider, the TAPI Prvider tab will display a list f all installed TAPI prviders n the client and prmpt the user t select the apprpriate TAPI line.
