2 Evaluatin Criteria: Admissin t the Graduate Accunting Prgrams is very cmpetitive. Yur admissin t the prgram will be based n the fllwing criteria. Please nte that these criteria supersede any ther published admissin criteria fr these prgrams. N ne item will either include r exclude yu the Admissins Cmmittee is lking fr well-runded individuals. GRADE POINT AVERAGE: 3.2/4.0 and abve frm US undergraduate schl. Internatinal students, please leave yur GPA/ percentage as it is. TEST SCORES --GMAT: Recmmended ttal scre f: 620 ttal. --GRE: minimum 157 n Verbal, minimum 157 n Quantitative, and 4.0 r abve n Analytical Writing. --TOEFL: 105 n new ibt; 260 r better n machinescred test. Any applicant wh is a nn-citizen will require a TOEFL, even if yu have a US degree. We d nt accept IELTS scres. RESUME: Invlvement in extracurricular activities, which highlight persnal achievements. Invlvement in scial, prfessinal, civic rganizatins and leadership experience therein. Summer, part-time r full-time wrk experience; vlunteer experience; r military experience that shws mtivatin, leadership and perseverance. PERSONAL STATEMENT: (essay as described abve) that describes yur career plans and hw yu feel this prgram will assist in realizing yur persnal and prfessinal gals. Please give these questins extensive thught in rder t frmulate a thughtful and well-prepared respnse. The essay shuld be frm ne t tw pages in length, but n lnger than tw pages (apprximately 700 wrds). Cnciseness, clarity, grammar, style, and frmat will be cnsidered. 2) Electrnic recmmendatin letters. We d nt accept paper recmmendatins. Prvide cntact infrmatin fr tw recmmenders. At least ne recmmender shuld be a cllege faculty member. Other recmmenders may be smene wh has had a chance t bserve yur wrk in prfessinal rganizatins, student grups, vlunteer psitins, r emplyment. Once yu submit yur applicatin, recmmenders will be cntacted, via , and asked t cmplete an nline recmmender frm that is submitted nline. All recmmendatins must be submitted nline. Applicants are respnsible fr fllw up with their recmmenders regarding timely cmpletin f a recmmendatin. Submit yur recmmenders in the recmmendatin sectin f the nline applicatin. Current Kelley students: If yu are using Kelley faculty members as referees, nly enter the name f thse wh have agreed t serve as yur references. Since we will cntact faculty directly if we need their recmmendatin, yu d nt need t prvide their cntact infrmatin, such as and mailing address. T avid the faculty member receiving a request fr a recmmendatin, we instead ask that yu enter yur wn & mailing address in the required fields. Yu will be sent an aut- with an access cde and instructins n hw t prceed t submit the recmmendatin which yu may disregard. 3) Test Scres: Send fficial scres t IU and uplad scanned cpies. If yu have nt taken these tests, yu will need t d s befre the applicatin deadline. Official scres reprts are sent t a centralized lcatin and upladed int the IU cmputer system. Please request fficial transcripts frm all institutins yu have attended fr undergraduate and graduate level wrk. If yu have nt yet graduated, send a transcript f yur current prgress. Upn graduatin, yu will be required t supply us with a final, fficial transcript shwing the degree that yu have earned befre yu frmally matriculate int ur prgram. WORK EXPERIENCE: This wrk shuld include any prfessinal, full-time, part-time, summer, vlunteer, r military experience. 2. EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: List any extracurricular activities while attending cllege/university (i.e. campus, scial, prfessinal, vlunteer, civic rganizatins), including leadership psitins held and dates f participatin. 3. HONORS AND AWARDS: List any hnrs and awards yu have received. Uplad yur resume in the Department Infrmatin tab f the nline applicatin. Once yu have made sure the abve dcuments are ready, g ahead and begin yur applicatin.
