Gdwin Cllege and Trinity Cllege allw part- time students t participate. Part- time undergraduate students are nt accepted at University f Hartfrd. N tuitin r registratin fee is paid by the student t the hst schl. Transprtatin, bks and special lab/film/music fees are entirely the student s respnsibility. Check with yur hme schl financial aid ffice if yu have questins abut aid eligibility. The academic calendars vary at the different Cnsrtium schls, and it is the respnsibility f the student t becme familiar with the hst schl calendar, vacatin perids, and the last day t withdraw frm a curse withut penalty. When withdrawing frm a curse, students must ntify bth the hme and hst schl. Graduate- level and 500+ level curses are pen nly t senirs. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS Undergraduate students taking classes at Capital Cmmunity Cllege, Central CT State University, Manchester Cmmunity Cllege and UCnn Greater Hartfrd Campus are eligible t enrll in curses in nly the fllwing areas: Classical and Mdern Languages Envirnmental Studies Internatinal Studies Religius Studies Urban Studies Wmen s Studies Undergraduate students taking classes at Charter Oak State Cllege, Gdwin Cllege, University f Saint Jseph, St. Thmas Seminary, Trinity Cllege and University f Hartfrd are eligible t enrll in curses in mst areas f study Specific Institutin Restrictins: Capital Cmmunity Cllege may crss- register nly fr first- and secnd- year curses at ther member institutins. Central CT State University Central CT State University students may nt crss- register fr mre than 2 curses per spring r fall semester. Only curses in the subject areas abve are pen t crss- register. Charter Oak State Cllege Charter Oak State Cllege full- time students are permitted t take curses in fall and spring, up t 4 curses per year (2 per semester), but are limited in the types f upper divisin curses they may take. Students must check with the COSC registrar befre undertaking any crss- registratin. Students enrlling at COSC frm ther member institutins cannt take IDS r Capstne Curses. Only five (5) full- time students/emplyees may enrll frm ther member institutins fr curses in fall r spring semesters, up t 4 curses per year (2 per semester). Gdwin Cllege All students, frm Gdwin r visiting frm anther member schl, need t cnfer with the Registrar s Office befre any crss- registratin in r ut. See cntact list. Hartfrd Seminary permits senirs frm ther member schls t enrll in certain graduate curses each semester, and n mre than ne per semester. Cntact the registrar s ffice fr list f available curses. 4 University f Saint Jseph students are limited in the number f lwer divisin curses that they may take. Check with the USJ registrar befre undertaking any crss- registratin. St. Thmas Seminary students must be full- time seminarians t enrll at anther institutin. Trinity Cllege students wh have earned 18 r mre credits are nt eligible t take curses at tw- year institutins. Trinity s I.D.P. students may crss- register fr curses at ther institutins, but must adhere t the same guidelines as ther undergraduate students. Students als are nt allwed t crss- register fr: A curse that is presently ffered at Trinity Any curses that are utside f liberal arts Online curses University f Hartfrd accepts nly full- time students and des nt permit students frm ther institutins t enrll in any art r applied music and recitals curses. If yu wish t enrll in art r music, it can be nly by special permissin f the University registrar and curse instructr. 5 HARTFORD CONSORTIUM FOR HIGHER EDUCATION UNDERGRADUATE CROSS-REGISTRATION COURSE REGISTRATION REQUEST FORM General Students shuld review their crss- registratin plan with BOTH the sending registrar as well as the receiving registrar prir t submitting paper wrk. Students may enrll in up t 2 curses per semester (fall and spring) at anther Cnsrtium member schl, n mre than 4 per academic year. Eligibility: Full- time students enrlled at Cnsrtium institutins are eligible. Gdwin Cllege and Trinity Cllege allws part- time students t participate. University f Hartfrd accepts nly full- time students in curses. Check with the hme and hst institutin Registrar Office t cnfirm curse eligibility. Instructins: Cmplete all sectins f the frm. Use a separate frm fr each curse requested. 1. Submit the frm(s) t the Registrar s Office f yur hme cllege/university. 2. Upn apprval by the hme institutin, submit the signed frm t the Registrar s Office at the hst cllege/university fr apprval. 3. Upn apprval, a cpy will be returned t yu. 4. It is imprtant that yu keep a signed cpy fr yur recrds. NOTE: yu must adhere t deadlines f the hst cllege/university in rder t enrll and/r withdraw frm any curse.
