2 Distinguished participants: The National Council of the Maquiladora and Manufacturing Export Industry, index, and the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of Mexico, CONCAMIN, invite you to our 2 nd National B2B Business Meeting on July 5 and 6, At the last B2B National Business Meeting, which index organized in Guadalajara in June of 2015, 50 driving-force companies and 90 suppliers from Mexico s electrical-electronics, automotive, metal mechanics, plastic and rubber, medical, household appliances, and chemical industries came together in a single forum to exchange business opportunities at a top level, cutting-edge event for buyers and suppliers from these sectors. It yielded very satisfactory results and we were able to form an alliance with the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of Mexico (CONCAMIN), with whom we have been collaborating to create connections with 500 SME companies and to advance their development by the end of the year 2018, which opens possibilities for pinpointing and further promoting the national supply base for our export industry. Our objective is to support the missions of index and CONCAMIN by bringing driving-force companies from these sectors together with their potential suppliers in order to make business opportunities known, seeking productive integration and an increase of domestic content in Mexico s Export Industry. 3 About the index National Council index is a private organization, established as a non-profit civil association, which has represented Maquiladora and Manufacturing Export and high-tech companies since 1973 through its 21 local associations, which are made up of IMMEX companies. These companies represent over 80% of the export industry s labor force with more than 1,000 affiliated IMMEX companies from different sectors, including electrical-electronics, automotive, auto parts, metal mechanics, plastic and rubber, medical, aeronautical-aerospace, information technology, communications, chemical, steel, household appliances, textile and clothing, and agribusiness and food. The index National Council is the leading organization for the manufacturing export industry, with Mexico s top 1,000 major advanced manufacturing companies forming part of its membership. For over four decades, we have been the body that promotes, organizes, and represents the large multinational exporters that manufacture in Mexico and export to the entire world. 13 Driving-Force Companies Participation. Increases the content of national materials utilized within the production processes of the Industry. Driving-Force Companies participation has no cost. Access will be provided up to two participants including access to the business appointments, opening meal, closing meal and B2B business forum. Driving-Force companies, who may wish to participate as suppliers, will be able to, as long as they cover the B2B booth fee. Additional access pass per participant cost is $2, MXP plus taxes. Participation Requirements. In order to fulfill the effective business appointments with the suppliers and the proper scheduling, Driving-Force companies should share their negotiable demand request as per provided format. Upon registration, Driving-Force companies will be required to share their brand logos in high definition, in order to include it in promotional material.
