2 Washington University EMS is looking forward to its 3rd annual EMS conference on October 13-14, 2016 in St. Charles, Missouri. It will be held at the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa, One Ameristar Boulevard, St. Charles, MO This conference will introduce EMS professionals to the latest in scientific advances in out-of-hospital medicine. Regional and national speakers will discuss cutting-edge topics important to how out-of-hospital medicine is provided and present new ideas and concepts vital to EMS professionals. Who will attend? Marketing of the conference has been focused on EMS providers in Southern Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Arkansas. Administrative managers have been made aware of the conference as well through direct mailings asking them to post flyers and send to employees notifying them of the conference. The 2015 conference was attended by over 130 pre-hospital providers including EMTs, paramedics, nurses and chief officers. It is anticipated that 150 pre-hospital providers will be in attendance this year. During these times, each exhibitor will need to leave a photo ID with the security guard in exchange for a badge. This badge will need to be returned to security by 9:30am on October 13 th. On October 14 th, you will need to enter through the main entrance at the casino. THIS SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE Exhibitor Booths Each exhibitor booth will consist of a 6 foot or 8 foot table, a blank table skirt, and 2 chairs. Exhibitor booth assignments will be based upon the level of sponsorship specified in the Exhibitor Agreement and payment received. Please notify Leanna Bell if you need electricity for your booth. We will try our best to locate your booth next to a wall outlet. If we are unable to do so, there is a $25 fee, per day charge. Please refer to the Exhibitor Agreement for further information. 5 Wireless Availability Complimentary wireless internet will be available to exhibitors only. Hotel Accommodations A block of rooms is being held at the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa at a special group rate of $119 plus tax. To assure your reservations, please use the online registration form. A link to this form is available on the CODE3 Conference website ( Alternatively, reservations can be made by calling the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Reservations toll free number (636) and asking for the Washington University CODE3 Conference group rate WSUJ15A. Reservations received after September 23, 2016 are subject to space and rate availability. All guests are required to present a valid photo ID upon check-in. Any additional guests will need to be listed on the reservation or they will be denied access to the guestroom. Shipping SHIPPING OF EXHIBIT MATERIALS 1. Any shipments that arrive before this time will result in a handling fee of $5 per box or $30 per pallet received. 3. Exhibitors are responsible for packaging and labeling any items to be shipped out after the conference concludes. UPS and FedEx Freight must be called in advance by the exhibitor to schedule a pickup. We strongly recommend calling to schedule FedEx Ground and any other pickups (courier, etc) to guarantee the packages are handled on the desired date. Property s shipping and receiving dock will not make arrangements for items left behind.
