2 Facility Rates Our Customers Deserve Value Contact the Central Reservations Center and tell us about your special event. We ll discuss the details of your event and how our unique expo center can be tailored to suit your needs. We can even arrange a facility tour. We provide discounted rates for extended-day bookings as well as reduced summer rates. Available for full or partial-space rental. Exhibitor-Friendly Free Show Services: ONE full day of set-up and tear-down at no charge. Facility labor is free: electrical, drayage and cleaning. No charge for forklift service. Use your own labor for carting exhibits, displays and literature. No head tax (fee for each attendee). Use your own labor for show management. Abundant and free lighted parking. Free Wi-Fi Internet access.

3 Floor Plan Meeting Your Meeting Needs The Sports & Expo Center is ideal for trade shows, expositions, conferences and sporting events. Soft, easy-on-the-feet flooring with tensile strength that allows approved vehicles to drive on it. Full, professional stage available with sound and lighting. Over 61,000 square feet (192 x 320 ) of unobstructed space is available on one floor, with seating capacity for 4,000 people. A very large drop-off area meets the covered entranceway. 32-foot high ceilings for over-sized booths. Easy-access loading area with two ground-level freight doors, including a 15 2 x 12 9 door to accommodate larger exhibits and faster loading times. An exhibit management room and a registration area with three ticket windows are available for your use. Staffed information booth located at main entrance. Staffed concession area offering a variety of light snacks and drinks. A full line of catering services is also available. Restrooms are conveniently located at the north and south entrances to the main exhibit room.

4 Room Capacities Meeting Your Meeting Needs The Macomb Sports & Expo Center has a seating capacity of 4,000 guests. This includes leaving space for a raised stage at one end of the center. For athletic or sporting types of events, raised grandstand seating can be brought to aid in the seating arrangements. For shows and other large-scale events, the center can accommodate 300 (10 x10 ) booths.

5 Room Sets As an expo center, the room layout utilized is always based on the client s need, whether it s aisles with booths, free-standing exhibits, or lecture-style/ grandstand seating, further room sets can be designed around the use of pipe and drape in creating smaller breakout areas within the space. In any of the situations above, the facility manager will provide the client with a scale-replica of the floor plan in CAD/Visio format. Detail drawings include use of all standing structures and electrical layouts.

6 FAQs Is the Sports & Expo Center handicap accessible? Yes, we are fully integrated for handicap accessibility, including parking. Is the facility air conditioned? Hallways, restrooms and other adjoining spaces are air conditioned. The Expo space itself is not air conditioned. What are your load-in capabilities? The entire load-in process is done at ground level. We have two roll-up freight doors and 48 standard doors that all open directly to the floor. Can my athletic team book the facility for practice? The present activity level of the facility does not permit us to accommodate team practices at this time. What is the floor surface like? Are there any restrictions? The Expo contains soft, easy on the feet flooring with tensile strength that allows approved vehicles to drive on it. The only restrictions are that the floor cannot be punctured, there is a 4,000 psi weight limit, and use of tape is forbidden. Is the labor force unionized and are we required to use your staff? Our staff is union labor. However, we have a unique relationship with the unions that gives you the choice of using our staff at a nominal charge OR providing your own staff/volunteers. Are there any columns that restrict my set-up? No. We are column free, with more than 61,000 square feet of unobstructed space. An additional 14,000 square feet is also available just down the hall from the main event space. Can you provide a stage? Yes. We have a 40 x 60 Stage Rite portable stage that can be erected in almost any location and arrangement. We are also capable of furnishing a complete professional sound and lighting system. Can you assist in the design of my floor plan? Yes. We would be happy to assist you in designing and providing a scale-replica floor plan in CAD/Visio format accurate enough for all your planning needs. What is the seating capacity of the Sports & Expo Center? We are able to accommodate up to 2,880 people in lecture-style seating. There is also bleacher seating for 1,500, or any combination of the two. Are your bleachers fixed? No. The bleachers are portable and can be arranged in many configurations to accommodate your event. Do you have a concession area? What type of food do they serve? Yes. The concession stand is located within the Expo Center. We serve typical arena fare, or can tailor-make items to your group s needs. We also offer a full-service catering option for those who need a more detailed menu. All profits from the food operations stay with the facility. What about Internet capabilities? The entire campus is Wi-Fi accessible. For an additional fee, we can provide dedicated 75mb bandwidth drops. Is there an ATM at the Expo Center? Not onsite, but we can support portable ATMs.
