M.A.-I.R./M.S.-Pubic Reations (Pubic Dipomacy) In addition, students may pursue concurrent degrees in a professiona degree program and one of the Schoo s socia-science departments (or another Syracuse University department). And, in Executive Education, students may pursue a coordinated program in pubic administration and internationa reations, bearing two degrees and requiring fewer credits than if pursued separatey. THE EXECUTIVE MASTER OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, Maxwe s Executive M.P.A., enhances the management and poicy-anaytic expertise of upper- and midde-eve executives representing pubic, private, and nonprofit organizations from around the word. The E.M.P.A. provides a fexibe, 30-credit curricuum to assist students in identifying and fiing current gaps in their skis and knowedge; and prepares midcareer students to face the future management and poicy chaenges they encounter in their chosen Caendar-year master s and semester-ong certificate programs Fexibe program of study Unique mix of eaders careers. There are three required courses: a seminar in organizationa eadership, a course on the fundamentas of poicy anaysis, and a capstone project. Maxwe aso offers the Executive Master of Internationa Reations degree, for midcareer professionas ooking to buid on their body of experience in internationa reations. This 30- credit program draws on the Schoo s pubic administration and internationa reations programs, and features core courses in comparative foreign poicy anaysis or governance and goba civi society; eadership, management, and strategy in goba affairs; and a capstone workshop in executive internationa reations. Students may engage in interdiscipinary studies and compete speciaized certificates in fieds such as confict resoution, heath services management, and information management.
