The experience was an exceent suppement to my teaching at RIT, says Osterman. Sandra Rothenberg, an associate professor of management and a Zutes Facuty Feow, is conducting a study of environmenta activists who changed careers to work in industry. Much of her interest focuses on corporate environmenta strategy and management as we as environmenta activism within companies. In addition to researching environmenta management, she heads the Joan Rothenberg Famiy Foundation, which supports organizations that promote environmenta protection. Manuea Campanei, professor in the Schoo of Mathematica Sciences, was part of a team that put none other than Abert Einstein to the test. Campanei and her team simuated the merger of two back hoes and soved the interreated equations that were the basis of Einstein s theory of genera reativity for strong fied gravity. A recipient of the RIT Trustee s Schoarship Award ( ), Campanei is a Principa Investigator in mutipe NSF- and NASA-funded research projects, a member of the Ligo Scientific Coaboration, and has served in numerous panes at the NSF and NASA. Keith Jenkins, Eisenhart Award winner and associate professor of communication in the Coege of Libera Arts, says, I want students to beieve that they can foow their passions and be successfu, whie aso instiing the idea that thoughtfu and committed peope can change the word.
