The new MACD 3 Trade Assistant is an incredible piece f sftware and it is brand new, s bare with us while wrking with it if anything slightly strange happens. We have tested it fr quite sme time and the quirks have all been wrked ut that we can find. Hwever, the MACD 3 Trade Assistant is still in a bit f a beta mde s if yu see smething funny r seemingly a little ff, please write it dwn including any errr message yu receive and it t inf@frextradingcaches.cm. Once yu have cmpleted that step cntinue t the next steps t install the new MACD 3 Pr Charts and MACD 3 Trade Assistant EA. The new MACD 3 Trade Assistant dcumentatin is cmpsed f these mdules: 1. HOW TO INSTALL THE MACD 3 Pr Charts and MACD 3 TRADE ASSISTANT EA Installatin f MACD 3 Trade Assistant is straight frward. But befre yu prceeding t installatin we need t knw if yu already had an ld installatin f FTC charts installed n yur Metatrader platfrm, r this is the first time yu install ur templates and EA. IS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME INSTALLING THE FTC CHARTS + TRADE ASSISTANT? Just dwnlad the installer frm the link yu've been prvided, and fllw the instructins. HAVE YOU PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED FTC CHARTS PRO ENHANCEMENTS? Uninstall the FTC Charts Pr Enhancements by pening Windws cntrl panel and selecting Add/Remve a prgram. Once yu see the list f installed sftware n yur windws perating system, lcate the FTC Charts Pr enhancements entry and uninstall it We need t get rid f any previus installatins yu may have because the new trade assistant installed new Expert Advisrs and indicatrs, and we need yur Metatrader installatin clean Dwnlad the installer frm the link yu've been prvided, and fllw the instructins. THE INSTALLER WILL INSTALL THE FOLLOWING FILES AND RUN THESE ACTIONS Cpy files fr MACD 3 Trade Assistant under MACD 3 Trade Assistant flder in yur windws Prgram Files. The Trade Assistant sftware will be installed n yur C drive at C:/Prgram Files/MACD 3 Trade Assistant It will cpy FTC indicatrs t yur Metatrader Indicatrs flder It will cpy FTC scripts t yur Metatrader Scripts flder It will cpy FTC MACD 3 Trade Assistant EA and FREE MACD 3 Trade Assistant t yur Metatrader Experts flder It will cpy FTC Red Levels templates fr EURUSD, GBPUSD, EURJPY and AUDUSD t yur Metatrader Templates flder It will create a desktp and start menu shrtcut s yu can easily find and pen the MACD 3 Trade Assistant EA I VE INSTALLED THE NEW TRADE ASSISTANT, WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT? Once the installatin is finished, yu need t d the fllwing actins: 1. Lcate the Trade Assistant shrtcut icn that shuld be n yur desktp 2. Duble click n the Trade Assistant icn and run it 3. Run yur Metatrader sftware 2

3 4. If this is nt yur first installatin f FTC Charts r Trade Assistant, prceed t step number 7 5. Once Metatrader is running, drag the ftc_gmt_offset script n any f the pened charts t change yur brker s GMT setting 6. Restart Metatrader t accept the new changes made by the GMT OFFSET script 7. Run yur Metatrader sftware 8. Verify that all checkbxes under Tls/Optins/Expert Advisrs are checked as yu see n the screensht belw *Remember t have these checkbxes checked/unchecked n the Expert Advisr tab under Tls/Optins main menu. **Nrmally these actins are autmatically executed by the installer, but yu shuld duble check if all is in place just in case. Nw all files are installed. Yu are nw ready t set yur charts up fr trading n yur MetaTrader installatin. By default, when yu pen a new chart r apply ne f ur templates, the MACD 3 Trade Assistant EA wn t be applied t the charts because we can t have mre than ne instance f the EA running n multiple timeframes f the same currency pair. THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT EAs INSTALLED UNDER THE EXPERTS TAB, WHICH IS THE ONE I NEED TO DRAG ON MY CHARTS? FREE MACD 3 Trade Assistant This is the ld EA which can be used fr free, it des nt use the new Trade Assistant external applicatin. Yu can use it at any time fr free. MACD 3 Trade Assistant This is the brand new Trade EA which relies n an external applicatin t perate. This EA is nly available t paying members HOW DO I LOAD AND APPLY THE NEW FTC TEMPLATES ON MY CHARTS? 3

4 Our MACD 3 Trade Assistant installatin has cpied the default template and red level templates fr the 4 main currency pairs n yur Metatrader templates flder The 4 red level templates available are fr the EURUSD, GBPUSD, EURJPY and AUDUSD currency pairs Open a new chart with any f these 4 main currency pairs and apply its red level template t each ne Select the currency pair yu wish t apply the red level templates, right muse click n an empty area n the chart, select template ptin and lcate the currency pair yu wish t lad and apply Yu have t d this fr each f the fur main currency pairs. Once yu have cmpleted these actins, yu will have the new indicatrs and red levels fr the EURUSD, GBPUSD, EURJPY and AUDUSD currency pairs HOW DO I DRAG THE NEW MACD 3 TRADE ASSISTANT EA ON MY CHARTS? Dragging the EA n yur charts is very easy; just fllw these steps in rder t drag the EA n any f yur charts: Open the expert advisrs/custm indicatrs navigatr windw and unfld the Expert Advisrs list by pressing n the + icn next t it Select the MACD 3 Trade Assistant (nt the FREE ne) and drag it nt the chart yu wuld like t manage yur trades with Repeat these actins fr each f the charts yu wish t use with the new MACD 3 Trade Assistant EA VERY IMPORTANT: d nt drag the MACD 3 Trade Assistant EA n multiple timeframes f the same currency pair r the EA will nt wrk. Why? If yu have 3 different charts pened fr the EURUSD and yu drag the EA n each f the 3 charts 5M, 15M and 1H, what will happen if yu pen an rder r add an alert? Yu want t pen 3 rders at the same time? Yu want t the 3 same alerts n the same currency pair? Each EA cmmunicates with the external Trade Assistant thrugh, let s say, a prt, having mre than ne timeframe f the same currency pair share the EA it will cause lts f cnflicts and prevent the Trade Assistant t wrk prperly TRADE MANAGER MODULE This mdule is the trade assistant's heart. It will allw yu t set up yur market executin and pending rders, as well as selecting which type f trade yu wuld like t execute. These are the settings yu can change befre the rder is filled: SYMBOL The symbl (EURUSD, GBPUSD, etc) will be aut selected based n the chart yu are using in MT4. The Trade Assistant will detect which Metatrader's chart is active chart and place the symbl there autmatically If the selected chart n Metatrader des nt have the EA n it, the symbl will shw "NOT ACTIVE" and will nt allw yu t trade that pair LOTS Chse the number f lts yu wuld like t trade with TYPE OF ORDER SELL 4

5 Dynamic spread autmatically added n market executin sell and limit sell rders: when selling, the trade assistant will always detect the spread at the mment f selling, and add it t the breakeven pips setting Fr instance, if the spread fr a EURUSD shrt was 2.1 when yu pressed the Sell buttn, the Breakeven Stp Lss will be equal t Default Trade Mde Breakeven pips + Spread, in realignment trades it wuld be = That is, the Stp Lss wuld be mved t Breakeven after price has prgressed 14.1 pips BUY TRADING MODE Each f these trading mdes will read the default parameters fr the Stp Lss and Breakeven Stp Lss frm the settings area Realignment Default Stp Lss: 20 pips Default Breakeven Stp Lss: 12 Traditinal Default Stp Lss: 35 pips Default Breakeven Stp Lss: 15 Custm This mde will allw yu t cnfigure bth yur Breakeven Stp Lss and Stp Lss t have a custmized trading mde Default Stp Lss: 0 pips Default Breakeven Stp Lss: 10 TAKE PROFIT Yu can select where yu want t set the take prfit fr yur trade. There are tw mdes fr take prfit: By pips Yu select the number f pips yu want t take prfit f yur trade Take prfit price will be calculated by adding these pips t the rder's pening price If a EURUSD rder was filled at and we set 50 pips as the take prfit, the take prfit line wuld be painted at n Metatrader By price Yu can select the exact price yu want t exit the trade by selecting this radi buttn Take prfit line will be painted n Metatrader at the exact price set here Remember yu need t take int accunt the spread while setting the take prfit, r yu might be ut f the trade earlier r later than expected Remember this: When selling, the Bid (Sell) price gets yu IN the trade When selling the Ask (Buy) price gets yu OUT f the trade When buying the Ask (Buy) price gets yu IN the trade When buying the Bid (Sell) price gets yu OUT in the trade INSTANT EXECUTION versus PENDING ORDER By default, the Trade Assistant will be set n Instant Executin mde, s all trades pened will be submitted directly t yur Metatrader brker. Yu can set limit rders by checking pending rder radi buttn: Limit rders will nly be pened when price n that field is reached 5

6 Remember what was mentined abve abut the Bid and Ask price fr selling and buying, r yu might miss an entry r an exit Manual Stp Lss fr all types f rders By default, the Trade Assistant will select the number f SL pips fr each type f trade but if yu tick the Stp Lss checkbx under the main screen yu will be able t specify the exact price where yu want SL t be lcated. It wrks fr bth Instant executin rders and Pending rders. Instant executin has a bug and wn't display crrectly the number f ttal SL pips frm current entry price t SL if yu select Instant Executin. It will be display it crrectly fr pending rders SETTINGS MODULE The settings mdule will allw yu t change the default settings fr Stp Lsses, Breakeven Stp Lss pips and ther settings. This mdule is divided in several tabs, each tab allwing yu t change different areas f the MACD 3 Trade Assistant. These are the tabs available under settings: 1. Breakeven 2. Default SL 3. RA Alerts (Realignment) 4. P1 Alerts (P1 pattern) 5. Alerts 6. Sunds 7. Other Let's describe the settings available under each f these mdules: BREAKEVEN Default Breakeven Pips fr Realignment, Traditinal and Custm trades The breakeven pips will be the number f pips the trade assistant will wait until yur stp lss is mved t breakeven These pips can be changed fr all types f trades Breakeven % Clse 6

7 If this checkbx is checked, nce price has prgressed the number f pips set n Breakeven Stp Lss fr each type f trade, the trade assistant will clse the % f the rder specified in this field Nrmally when yu check Breakeven % Clse, the trade assistant will pen 2 different trades. Fr example if yu chse t pen a 1 LOT trade, the Trade Assistant will pen these trades One rder with 0.75 lts One rder with 0.25 lts with Take Prfit set t the Breakeven Stp Lss fr the type f trade yu've chsen (Realignment r Traditinal). By setting the Take Prfit with that amunt, if Metatrader clses dwn r yur machine gets restarted, the Stp Lss and Take Prfit will already be set at yur brker If this checkbx is unchecked, the Trade Assistant will just pen a new rder with the number f lts specified n the manager, and n % f yur trade will be clsed nce the Breakeven pips number has been reached; the trade assistant will just mve the Stp Lss t Breakeven and let the trade run as per the MACD 3 blck trailing stp rules Slippage Slippage is the number f pips added t the Stp Lss when the Stp Lss is autmatically mved t Breakeven By having a default 1 pip Slippage (r lwer if yu prefer), the Breakeven price will always be ahead f the pening price, and will prevent yur brker frm nt filling yur rder at yur price R/R BE SL RATIO (Risk/Reward Breakeven Stp Lss Rati). This feature, if checked, is useful fr lnger term trades like 4H Traditinal trades r P1s at higher timeframe supprt/resistance areas which yu believe will becme P2. Price needs breathing rm t prgress in yur directin, s having a 2:1 r 1.5:1 Risk/Reward will mean that SL will be mved t breakeven after 2 times the SL risk. Fr example n a 4H P1 within a D1 P1, if R/R is set t 2:1 and SL is 25 pips, the R/R feature will cause the SL t be mved t breakeven after trade is 50 pips in yur favur This checkbx will nly apply when using Custm type f trade. Realignment and Traditinal entry types will verride it DEFAULT SL Default Stp Lsses fr Realignment, Traditinal and Custm trades REALIGNMENT ALERTS Default Realignment alerts 7

8 By default yu will be autmatically alerted when a realignment is triggered fr every pair with the MACD 3 EA n, bth t the buy side and t the sell side. By default all timeframes are selected autmatically except M1 timeframe Yu can change it at any time and decide the timeframes yu want t be alerted n P1 PATTERN ALERTS Default P1 Pattern alerts By default yu will be autmatically alerted when a P1 pattern is triggered fr every pair with the MACD 3 EA n, bth t the buy side and t the sell side. By default all timeframes are selected autmatically except M1, M5 and M15, since the lwest timeframe we d P1s n MACD 3 system is the H1 Yu can change it at any time and decide the timeframes yu want t be alerted n ALERTS These settings will allw yu t cntrl ppups and different alerts. Metatrader Alert Ppups (n by default).if Metatrader ALERTS checkbx is checked yu will get all alerts ppups n yur Metatrader Platfrm 8

9 Dn't alert n Realignment trades. If checked, yu will never be alerted n Realignment Trades. This is useful if yu just want t be alerted f MACD Crsses/Waterline, Slid Break f Prices, s yu will avid getting all kind f alerts BUT the nes yu cnsider t be mre imprtant Dn't alert n P1 Patterns. If checked, yu will never be alerted n P1 Patterns. This is useful if yu just want t be alerted f MACD Crsses/Waterline, Slid Break f Prices, s yu will avid getting all kind f alerts BUT the nes yu cnsider t be mre imprtant Gtalk User. This ptin will allw yu t receive alerts n yur mbile thrugh Ggle Talk messenger. Type in yur n the GTalk User field and yu will start receiving alerts n yur mbile. In rder t start receiving alerts n GTalk, yu first need t invite the user macdalert@gmail.cm t becme a friend. Once yu are accepted, yu will start receiving the alerts n yur GTalk after yu enter yur gmail address IPhnes d nt wrk well with GTalk because there is n APP fr GTalk, all is dne n the brwser side, s yu wn't get sund alerts when a new alert is triggered Blackberry and Andrid mbiles are the ideal mbile devices fr the GTalk alerts SOUND ALERTS These settings will allw yu t cnfigure which are the default sunds t be played when there is a new alert. Each alert nw has its wn specific default sund. Get used t the sunds that each alert r change the default nes with the nes yu like. There is a selectin f sunds that have been installed under MACD 3 Trade Assistant/Sunds flder under Prgram Files/ Feel free t change them, but remember, stick t the nes yu chse! If yu keep n changing the default sunds ver and ver, yur brain will nt assciate them t the alerts they belng t. OTHER SETTINGS These settings will allw yu t cntrl ther MACD 3 rules. 9

10 MACD Alert when price abve/belw WL, if checked: The Trade Assistant will nt allw yu t pen a new Sell rder if the MACD n the entry timeframe is nt belw the Waterline The Trade Assistant will nt allw yu t pen a new Buy rder if the MACD n the entry timeframe is nt abve the Waterline Dn't allw mre than 1 rder per symbl If checked, the Trade Assistant will nt pen a new trade if there is already ne trade pen n the selected symbl r pair, preventing yu frm pening multiple trades by mistake Dn't play alert sunds If checked n sund will be played when a any alert is triggered, yu will get nly alert ppups at the bttm f yur screen and n yur Metatrader Platfrm This is useful if yu are in frnt f yur cmputer and yu dn't want t be driven mad with s many sunds Alert nn "Tp f the hur" trades, if checked: The Trade Assistant will alert yu if the Market Executin rder abut t be executed des nt match with Tp f the Hur rules, that is, if time f entry is nt between :45 and :15 On pending rders, the Trade Assistant will ONLY alert yu that it's nt tp f the hur. The trade is already n yur brker, s yu can't clse it if it's nt tp f the hur. Remember, it will ONLY alert yu, yu will have t decide by yurself if yu clse r stay with yur trade N blue level trailing stp, if checked: This checkbx is nly taken int accunt if Custm type f trade is selected, it's nt applied t Traditinal and Realignment type f trades The Trade Assistant will nt trail stp SL based n blue levels lcated every 25 pips, trade will be pened till either TP r targets are reached, r we manually exit ur trade All rders pened with while this check bx ticked will have it n by default. Hwever, yu can edit any particular rder and turn this setting n and ff at any time This is useful fr swing trades where yu want t mve yur SL technically belw 4H swing highs/lws preventing yu frm being kicked ut f the trade n a bigger pullback HOW DOES THE TRADE ASSISTANT MANAGE YOUR TRADES? The Trade Assistant will autmatically manage pened trades as per the MACD 3 system rules, taking int cnsideratin the default settings yu have added fr Breakeven Stp Lss, Stp Lss and % clse n Breakeven. In rder fr the Trade Assistant t manage yur trade, yu must use it t pen yur trade. It will nt manage trades that were pened withut using the EA. 10

11 This is hw the Trade Assistant manages yur trades nce yu press n the BUY/SELL buttns: If Breakeven % clse is nt checked, it will pen a new trade with the number f Lts specified If Breakeven % clse is checked, it will pen 2 trades, a big ne with the bigger lts, and a secnd smaller ne with the exact % f the bigger trade. Refer t the Breakeven % Clse sectin t learn mre details abut it Stp Lss will be set taking int accunt the default settings fr the selected type f trade Take prfit will be set n the smaller % trade as per the rules explained abve Once current price has reached the Breakeven price, the Stp Lss will be mved t breakeven, and the Slippage pips will be added t it if any has been set Smaller % trade might nt be clsed at that same mment, because the Take Prfit has been set n the brker side and the spread at the pening f the trade may differ frm the spread at the mment f the Breakeven Stp Lss. Dn't be alarmed if it's nt clsed. Remember, the spread will fluctuate if yur brker des nt have a fixed spread Frm this mment n, the trade will be managed by the MACD 3 system blck trailing stp rules (blue level after blue level) A blue level is autmatically painted by an indicatr every 25 pips Stp Lss will be mved with a trailing stp f blcks f 25, but with a minimum Stp Lss f 30 pips Once price is within 5 pips f next blue level, Stp Lss will be mved t 10 pips beynd the previus blue level. This prcess will be run repeatedly until either the trade is: a) manually clsed, b) clsed because the take prfit is reached r c) trail stps ut This blue level trailing stp can be discnnected by ticking "N blue level trailing stp" setting under the Others tab in settings ORDERS MODULE This mdule will allw yu t see the prgress f yur trades and manage them easily. Yu can pen as many trades as yur equity allws yu. 11

12 Yu will see a list f all pened trades n the active brker accunt with these fields: Time. This clumn will shw the time and date when the rder was submitted t yur brker. Date frmat is Day/Mnth Time Symbl/Pair Ticket number Type f trade The Trade Assistant will detect the entry timeframe at the time yu pressed the Sell/Buy buttn and display it there, be it Realignment, Traditinal r Custm trade It is helpful t knw which timeframe and the trade type at the mment f filling an rder Pay attentin t this functinality and select crrectly the entry timeframe r this functinality will be useless. Besides, by selecting the right entry timeframe, the MACD and ther alerts will be f use Lts SL. Stp Lss TP. Take Prfit Current Price PIPS SL Prfit This is the number f pips left fr the next autmatic Stp Lss change as per the MACD 3 system rules. First f all yu will see number f pips left fr SL t be mved t Breakeven, next when yur trade is at breakeven, yu will see the number f pips left fr next blue level trailing stp If "N blue level trailing stp" checkbx is ticked, then yu will see NTS which stands fr "N Trailing Stp" HOW CAN YOU EDIT THE STOP LOSS AND TAKE PROFIT OF YOUR TRADES? Once the trade is pened by the Trade Assistant, it will be cntrlled by the settings yu have setup in the Trade Assistant. 12

13 We have added Drag & Drp functinalities t the Trade Assistant which will allw yu t change the Stp (SL) and Take Prfit (TP) rapidly withut having t edit the rder n Metatrader (which yu can't d if EA is n) r duble clicking n the rder. The drag and drp functinality wrks like this: Once a SL r TP is set by the Trade Assistant when an rder is pened, yu will see lines painted n the SL and TP prices which yu can drag and drp By dragging thse lines, the SL and TP will autmatically be changed t the price yu drpped the line n in the charts Yu need t be careful and nt mve it t fast, r it might nt wrk. D it slwly and dn't drp it until yu see the lines are mved t the new lcatin. The Trade Assistant cmmunicates with the brker each time the tick is changed, s if ticks are slw the line wn't be painted real time. Yu have t wait with the line dragged withut drpping it until the line mves Manual editing f SL and TP f my rders: See the list f pen rders n the Orders tab Duble click n any rder r select it and press MODIFY in rder t edit SL and TP Yu will see a ppup that will allw yu t change SL and TP BE SL Pips while the trade is running, in case yu want t give mre rm fr trade t range and take ff BE Slippage Minimum SL and Blue Levels. By changing the Blue Levels t a bigger number like 50 pips, SL will be trailed after 2 blue levels, it's useful fr swing trading, s SL will be mved in blcks f 50 pips r any number f pips that yu set there. Minimum SL will als affect this change, since it's the number f pips that price needs t prgress frm the trade's pening price r last SL after SL is mved t the new trail stp area N blue level trailing stp. By ticking this checkbx, the rder will nt trail stp in 25 pips blue level blcks. This setting can be switched n and ff real time BE % Clse. If yu changed yur mind and want t clse a % f yur trade at breakeven, yu can edit the trade at any mment befre breakeven happens IMPORTANT: Remember that mst brkers have a prximity limitatin fr setting the SL and TP. If yu try t place the TP r SL t clse t current price, it prbably wn t wrk. Each brker is different but generally yu can t set TP r SL within 3-6 pips f the pen price f the trade SL AND TP EDITING LIMITATIONS: Yu wn't be able t change Stp Lss r Take Prfit by editing the rder with Metatrader's terminal. If yu try t d that, the Trade Assistant will und thse changes and mve SL and TP t the prices where the Trade Assistants knws it has t be If yu want t edit the trade with Metatrader, yu have t deactivate the Expert Advisr frm Metatrader by pressing n the Expert Advisr buttn. If the EA's face is a happy face, then the EA will be in cntrl f that pair's trades ALERTS MODULE 13

14 The alerts mdule is ne f the MACD 3 Trade Assistant's mst pwerful mdules. It will allw yu t set all kinds f alerts t imprve and increase the number f trade setups yu can detect. In rder t add an alert, yu will need t press n the Alerts tab. Frm there yu'll be able t: Add a new alert Mdify an existing alert Remve an alert Pause and Start alerts When the alert is paused and then started again, the Last time clumn will be reset and n time will be shwn until the alert is triggered again Alerts triggered and rw clrs When yu have several alerts and ne f them is triggered, there is a clr cde that will tell yu which is the last alert triggered and in which directin: 1. Light green = last alert had a buy directin 2. Light red= last alert had a sell directin 3. Light green = directin was nt needed fr this alert Shw alerts that happened during the last lgin Filter by Symbl Yu can filter the alerts added by selected the typing in any character in the filter bx. This is very useful when yu have many alerts added and yu want t filter by EUR, CAD, USD, etc. Filter by Lng Term/Shrt term When yu add many alerts and yu manage several pairs, yu will have truble lcating the alerts yu have added. S fr lnger term alerts when yu expect a slid break f price quite far frm current price r a higher timeframe P2 like the D1 r WK, yu can set the alert as lng term, and then select Shw 14

15 Shrt Term. The lng term alert will be still there but hidden temprarily frm the list until yu select t shw all terms ALERTS DESCRIPTIONS, TOLERANCE PIPS AND STYLES All alerts have a "descriptin" field and clumn which yu can add r mdify at any mment. Smetimes the Trade Assistant will display errrs received frm yur brker, like 129, 130, 131, which stands fr things like Stp Lss t clse t current price, server nt available, etc. Errrs' descriptins will be shwn next t each number n MT ppups, as described at P1 Pattern and Realignment arrws will be triggered autmatically as selected under their settings tabs TRADE ASSISTANT LIMITATIONS If all charts are minimized and the last Minimized chart has n EA attached, the Trade Assistant will stp managing all f yur trades. If yu minimize all charts, please remember that last ne selected has the EA n it MACD 3 Trade Assistant EA shuld be dragged ONLY ONCE FOR EACH PAIR. If yu pen several windws with the same pair and drag the Trade Assistant EA n the same symbl, it will nt wrk well. Remember, nly attach the Trade Assistant EA t ne chart per pair Yu can manage as many brker accunts as yu want, but nly ne brker accunt at a time Yu can't manage trades frm several Metatrader platfrms at the same time, nly ne brker at a time All trades pened n an accunt will n lnger be tracked by the Trade Assistant if yu switch t anther accunt Line alerts settings are nt remembered when Metatrader is clsed. Yu will need t add them again. Lines will be rphans n the chart and n lnger trigger any alert when Metatrader is clsed. Als, if yu remve an alert in the Trade Assistant, the line n the charts assciated with the alert will NOT be deleted. If yu want t delete it yu need t d it manually Line alerts descriptins changes are nt bidirectinal, that is, if yu edit a line alert n the charts the descriptin yu add r delete n the chart wn't update the line alert n the trade assistant. 23 A: If yu apply a template n a chart that has an active trade, the EA will be remved frm it since the default template has n EA n it, and if it had it, it wuld remve the riginal EA instance frm the chart. If this happens, then yur trade will n lnger be managed n that chart even if yu add the EA again, because the new EA instance will nt have pened the riginal trade. S, if yu want t apply a new template t a chart that is running the EA while a trade is active, wait till that trade is clsed and then apply the template. 12. Q: I just installed the Trade Assistant and my Metatrader clses dwn secnds after it's laded r when I lg in t my accunt A: This culd be "anything", sme cnflicting EA r Indicatr. There are several slutins t this, althugh the best ne is uninstalling Metatrader and installing it frm scratch n anther flder. Slutin 1: G t flder cnfig/ n yur Metatrader main flder, lcate the fine server.ini and make a backup. Rename the riginal server.ini file t smething like serverold.ini and then run Metatrader. If Metatrader clses dwn, try with slutin number 2. Slutin 2: Run Metatrader again after having gne thrugh steps in Slutin 1, and d nt lg in. Clse all f yur charts and then lg in. Once yu are lgged, pen a new chart. If this fails, please prceed t slutin 3. Slutin 3: Tired f the headaches? The easiest way nt t waste yur time is t uninstall yur Metatrader and then installing it again n a brand new flder, different than the ne yu previusly had just in case. Then install the Trade Assistant as explained in the installatin sectin, and prceed t add yur accunt details and any extra indicatrs yu may have had n yur charts. 13. Q: Can I use the Trade Assistant with a VPS (Virtual Private Server)? A: Yes, the Trade Assistant can be installed n a VPS and run the trades frm there. By ding s, yu wn't need yur cmputer turned n all day lng, the server itself will be managing the trades fr yu. Hwever, rders will nly be managed by the cmputer that initially pened them. In the future, we might decide t develp a srt f nline cmmunicatin with yur VPS s that rders pened with the Trade Assistant n yur desktp wuld always be submitted thrugh the VPS. By ding s, the VPS wuld always be in cntrl f yur trades, whether r nt yur desktp cmputer is cnnected. VPS and yur lcal cmputer can't cexist unless a custm installatin is dne, which is nt included r supprted by FTC s far 14. Q: Des the Trade Assistant need t be up and running in rder t manage the trades? A: Yes, yu must be lgged int the Trade Assistant. It needs t be running all the time in rder t manage yur trades. If the Trade Assistant is clsed it will nt manage yur trades. 15. Q: Will the Trade Assistant manage my trades if there is n internet cnnectin? A: N, if there is n internet cnnectin then there wn't be any cnnectin with yur Metatrader brker and the trade management will nt wrk. 16. Q: Will Metatrader have t be up and running fr the Trade Assistant t pen and manage my trades and alerts? A: Yes, the Trade Assistant needs Metatrader running in rder t manage yur trades and alerts, as well as internet cnnectin. 17. Q: My cmputer frze and restarted. Will the Trade Assistant take ver the trades when Metatrader is started again? A: Yes, run yur Metatrader sftware and then the Trade Assistant. Once there is a new cnnectin established between Metatrader and the Trade Assistant, the trades pened with it will be managed again. 23

24 18. Q: My cmputer shut dwn, my trades were nt managed. Result: Yu lst yur trade r yu didn't earn as many pips as yu culd have. A: If fr sme reasn yur cmputer shuts dwn, the Trade Assistant will nt manage yur trades and yu might have a lss r nt earn as many pips as yu culd. Hwever, the stps and limits that were set prir t the cmputer shutting dwn will be set with the brker s thse wuld still be hnred if hit. 19. Q: If my cmputer, Metatrader r Trade Assistant shut dwn, hw can I restart them if I am nt in frnt f my cmputer? A: Yu can use a sftware like Always Up which yu can cnfigure t check if bth Metatrader and/r the Trade Assistant are running r nt. If it detects they are nt running, this sftware will launch applicatins again and the trades will be managed again. Yu can check Always Up applicatin at Q: I pened a trade but my Metatrader shut dwn withut me nticing it. Will the Trade Assistant update the rder when MT is restarted? A: Yes, the Trade Assistant will lcate all trades pened with it and will calculate the next blue level accrding t current price. If, fr instance, yur buy trade was 70 pips up, it will lcate the previus blue level and autmatically mve SL -10 belw it. 21. Q: Can the MACD 3 Trade Assistant manage trades frm multiple brkers at the same time? A: N, it can manage nly ne accunt at a time. Once yu lg int anther brker accunt the trade management will stp wrking n the riginal accunt. Hwever, the alerts will still be triggered n the new accunt if yu have nt changed yur brker, that is, if yu switch frm ne accunt t accunt within the same brker, all alerts will still be valid. 22. Q: Can I custmize the Stp Lss fr my trades? A: Yes, yu can custmize the Stp Lss fr each type f trade in the settings area. By default it's 20 pips fr Realignment Trades and 35 pips fr traditinal trades. 23. Q: Can I custmize the Breakeven Stp Lss fr my trades? A: Yes, yu can change the Breakeven Stp Lss fr each type f trade in the settings area. By default it's 12 pips fr Realignment Trades and 15 pips fr traditinal trades. 24. Q: The Breakeven Stp Lss has been reached but the Trade Assistant didn't mve the SL t breakeven? A: If yur SL is nt mved n Breakeven it culd be that the Trade Assistant is nt active r is clsed dwn. Please verify that it's running and the pair has the EA dragged n its chart, as well as having an internet cnnectin. 25. Q: The drag and drp functinalities t drag SL and TP lines smetimes wrk very slwly during slw markets. A: Smetimes in slw market cnditins r fr sme mments, cmmunicatin with the brker is slw. When dragging the SL/TP lines the EA needs t cmmunicate with yur brker in rder t submit changes t its server. It des it very tick. If ticks are slw then the line wn't be drpped in the new psitin until the next tick is ver. 26. Q: I installed the MACD 3 Trade Assistant n my Metatrader brker but I dn't see the new templates and indicatrs. 24

A dynamic spread is autmatically added n market executin sell and limit sell rders: When selling, the trade assistant will always detect the spread at the mment f selling, and add it t the breakeven pips setting. 28. Q: Why isn't the EA autmatically attached t new charts pened r red level templates? A: We have decided t detach the EA frm the templates because it's nt pssible t have multiple timeframes f the same currency pair with the EA, it causes lts f cnflicts.
