2 Wellbeing that works! Have you been thinking about the wellbeing agenda in your business or read the research that establishes a clear link between wellbeing, employee engagement and company success and now need to put the theory into practice? Or have you kicked off a wellbeing programme and would like to check your direction and get some new ideas? The Communications and Media Group presents an exciting line-up of speakers who have real-life experience of starting and managing a wellbeing programme. To help delegates put into practice the lessons from this event, we ll also be launching our online wellbeing toolkit. We ve designed the programme around three key themes: physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, and creating a wellbeing strategy and programme. Choosing West Ham Football Club as a venue will also provide inspiration from the world of sport where mental and physical wellbeing are key to success. Topics on the day will include: - how to create a wellbeing strategy tailored to your organisation and get it up and running - the importance of musculoskeletal health to employees who do physical tasks and those in sedentary roles - is it really worth investing in sit-stand equipment? - how to implement the lessons from the IOSH cancer awareness campaign in your organisation - how to approach mental wellbeing the pitfalls and successes - is wellbeing at work mostly about good engagement with employees and managing performance? Who will benefit? This event will be beneficial for those with safety and health responsibilities, including: - HR professionals - safety and health professionals - IOSH members and non-members - anyone with an interest in setting up or enhancing a wellbeing programme.
