2 OVERVIEW A bespoke one-day training event for practitioners involved in pursuing and defending Obstetrics and Gynaecology claims. This course is the only one of its kind, which offers interactive workshops with clinical models, as well as lectures enabling participants to fully understand and visualise the clinical problems discussed. The course is run by experts, all leaders in and actively practising in the field of Obstetric and Gynaecological medico-legal claims. The team is highly experienced in devising and delivering interactive, practical and enjoyable multi professional training. Delegates will be provided with the most up to date medico-legal information, in depth and comprehensive review of the latest medical techniques, regulations/guidelines and thinking in this area. Delegates will receive working protocols for the most common Obstetrics and Gynaecology claims, aiding risk assessment of these, complex and emotive claims. Fee and payment The registration fee is 185 ( VAT) for all registrations postmarked before or on Wednesday 7 January 2009 and thereafter is 235 ( VAT). All retired Fellows and Members of the RCOG are entitled to a 50% discount in the registration fee (please state if you are retired at the time of booking). The fee includes coffee, lunch, tea and admission to the lectures, any technical exhibition and drinks reception (where applicable) for the registrant only. You will receive confirmation of your registration within 14 days of receipt of your payment at the conference office. Please note that you are not guaranteed a place until you receive this confirmation. If applying after Wednesday 7 January 2009, you should telephone to confirm that a place is available before posting your application form and payment. Cancellations Cancellations must be received in writing by Wednesday 18 February 2009 before the event and be accompanied by a copy of your registration confirmation letter and receipt. An administrative charge of 10 will be made on all cancellations received before or on Wednesday 18 February The College cannot refund fees after this date. Cancellations will be processed after the conference. Substitutions are welcome at any time. CPD CPD credits are available for full attendance at this meeting. Certificates of attendance will be provided as required.
