Specifically, we are seeking a Data Manager with a proven track record of leading our clients along the journey to adopt analytics in their business decision-making. A fast learner and skilful communicator, you will leverage the power of advanced analytical solutions to bring new insights to our clients most important business issues. Based at our Greenwich office, the role will see you tasked with the following responsibilities: Managing the data team to meet agreed performance targets, continually seeking ways to improve efficiency without negatively impacting on quality of the data portfolio and associated data services; Leading the data team and working with the sales team to close client deals for the delivery and implementation of these analytics and data services; Utilising GIS technology in conjunction with other established analysis tools and data processing languages; Securing market intelligence on competitors, customers and general industry trends to drive data product roadmap priorities and data best practices; Working as part of the management team to create an environment that strives to meet goals, promotes team work, encourages collaboration and rewards a client focused approach; Key to being considered for the role is the following selection criteria: Formal tertiary qualification with a demonstrated minimum five years experience in related roles; Experience in working with internal or external clients in identifying opportunities from their data; Background in relation to product management, project management, consulting lead engagements with expertise in at least one of the following disciplines: statistics, data mining, operations research and / or information retrieval; Ability to lead and motivate others; Demonstrated project planning and specification skills, together with strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to establish commercial relationships and commit to revenue targets; Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills;
2 Passion to embrace, drive and be accountable for success; Tenacity, flexibility and inventiveness in all aspects of the role; Ability to enable the development of successful relationships at all levels with all stakeholders; and, Demonstrated understanding of commercial reality and ability to size professional services engagements. You will act as a consultant leveraging the power of advanced analytical solutions to bring new insights to our clients most important business issues. Create and search for new business data and work with clients to identify the opportunity to put information into productive use. Provide strong management skills and have experience with client service oriented roles to define requirements and specify optimum solutions. Manage a team to ensure the data portfolio is managed, delivered and adheres to industry standards and rigorous release schedules.
