2 CHRISTMAS AT Fitzwilliam College is the perfect college venue to celebrate Christmas with colleagues, friends or family. Christmas events for up to 160 guests with reception drink, dinner, festive trimmings, dancing and cash bar until late, from just per person. Or you can host an exclusive lunch, dinner or drinks event for guests, tailored to your Christmas wishes. You make the booking and leave the festive arrangements to our experienced events team. 5 FITZWILLIAM Christmas Dinner Sunday - Tuesday Wednesday - Saturday Start the evening with a glass of mulled wine (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) followed by a three course dinner in our main Dining Hall or our recently refurbished Upper Hall. All dinners include festive napkins, balloons, Christmas crackers and novelty party boxes. 6 CHRISTMAS AT Fitzwilliam label Cabernet Sauvignon Our house red wine is a medium bodied un-oaked wine and has an aroma of ripe backcurrants with generous fruit and soft tannins on the palate. Fitzwilliam label white Luberon Our house white is from Luberon and shows a nose of fruit and white flowers. The mouth is soft on notes of hazelnuts and peaches. Fitzwilliam Champagne Pinot Noir, Pinot Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier cepages by a family grower who has achieved recognition for high quality champagnes. Fitzwilliam Cava This Extra Brut Cava is pale yellow with a fine delicate bouquet. Prosecco Sant Orsola Brut, Veneto, Italy A crisp, light and extremely refreshing aperitif from Northern Italy. Pinot Grigio Rosé, Veneto, Italy A light salmon pink with a blend of raspberry and stone fruit flavours. WHITE WINES Sancerre, Domaine Jean & Michel Naudet, Loire Valley, France Crisp, fruity and with a lovely mineral finish. Apaltagua Gran Verano Sauvignon Blanc, Central Valley, Chile Fresh and fruity with flavours of citrus fruits and green apple. Chateau Pontac, Loupiac, Bordeaux, France Full flavoured and deep coloured dessert wines, with orange marmalade flavours. RED WINES Apaltagua Reserva Pinot Noir, Curico Valley, Chile Silky and smooth with delicate red fruit flavours. Fleurie, Domaine Bouroniere, Beaujolais, France A classic Beaujolais - light and juicy with flavours of strawberry and cherry. Apaltagua Gran Verano Merlot, Central Valley, Chile Smooth and juicy merlot flavours, with excellent structure. 7 FITZWILLIAM MINIMUM NUMBERS 60 guests for the Upper Hall and 80 guests for the Dining Hall. We reserve the right to choose which is your party location. TIMINGS Reception drinks 18:30 for dinner served at 19:00 Reception drinks 19:00 for dinner served at 19:30 Reception drinks 19:30 for dinner served at 20:00 Should you require dinner after 20:00 there will be a surcharge of 10% per person per 15 minute extension. Please note that dinner will be served promptly at the chosen time. The late dinner surcharge will be levied if dinner starts past 20:00 due to the late arrival of the party even if it was booked to start before 20:00. LATE ARRIVAL We are happy to serve individual guests that arrive late but they will be served the course being eaten at the time. DISCO We can provide entertainment for the evening including live music or a disco. Price on request. We will provide a disco free of charge if you book 80 guests in the Upper Hall or 125 guests in the Dining Hall. BAR The bar is situated on the ground floor next to the main hall and is open until 23:00. A late bar can be arranged until 00:00 at a cost of We can also provide a mobile draught/bottle bar at a cost of CAPACITY The Dining Hall can accommodate 240 or 150 plus a disco and dancing. The Upper Hall can accommodate 110 plus a disco and dancing. CLOAKROOM We will provide coat rails and coats may be left at the owners risk. PARKING We have free parking on site on a first come first served basis. We are happy to reserve spaces for guests with Blue Badges. WHEELCHAIR ACCESS All of our rooms are accessible.
