10 Track Possessions The final possession pattern is not yet decided but is expected to be close to this. Ringsted - Næstved 6 months track closure during the summer of Remaining work while trains are operating and during night and weekend possessions. Næstved - South of Storstrøms Bridge 7 weeks of double track closure and and 14 weeks single track closure during Falster and Lolland 2017: 6 months Orehoved-Nykøbing F and 8½ months Nykøbing F Vest-Rødby Havn. 2019: 4½ months Orehoved-Rødby Færge. Remaining work while trains are operating, during nights and a few weekends possessions. 10

11 Tender Strategy Objectives The overall objective is to fulfil the programme vision: Banedanmark is using new, better and more cost-efficient ways of building rail infrastructure. 27 2 Options in the tender : The removal of approx E2 rail insulations. The option comprises both the removal and disposal of the rail insulation and the substitution of the rail insulation with a length of 60E2 rail, thermite or flash butt welding of the rails, rail fitting and rail grinding, de-stressing of rails etc. The exchange of approx mono block sleepers presently installed on the Næstved-Vordingborg double track line. The existing sleepers are equipped with Vossloh W fastenings and it is expected that the new sleepers will be mono block sleepers equipped with Pandrol Fastclip fastening. 27

31 E1001 Track Works Work in 2017 In 2017 the line will be closed. On Falster 6 months and 8,5 months on Lolland New track in the old trace adjusted to 200 kmp. Old interlocking system. 31

39 Tender Tender: Negotiated according to the EU utility directive. Expected to have one round of negotiation between two bids: FNT (First Negotiation Tender) and BAFO (Best and Final Offer). Banedanmark expects to keep the option open for an additional negation round and a subsequent revised BAFO. Language: In general the tender documents are prepared in english to allow for international bidders. However, the legal documents including the norms and regulation are written in danish. All work regarding Railway Safety has to be performed by danish speaking personal. Compensation are paid for submitting proposals: Banedanmark will provide a tender fee for both FNT and BAFO only Kong Fr. IX s bridge. Award Criteria Technical/Financial 60/40 % (Kong Fr.
