19 The Project and the System Service The Light Rail shall: Use standard equipment When possible be running in own alignment Be integrated with other public transport Lundtofte Ishøj in 55min Time Mon-Fri Saturday Sunday (Current bus 300S 3-6 per hour, travel time 65min) 19

21 The Project and the System Specifications Permanent Way: Standard rail UIC 54, S49 Concrete Sleepers Track on ballast, ~80% Slab track (grooved or embedded) ~20% Slope up to 6%, gauge 1435mm Radius down to 25m Traction Power, Power Supply: Overhead line system with carrier wire 750V DC No sections without overhead line Dedicated 10kV system 21

22 The Project and the System Specifications Signalling: Drive on line of sight, max speed: 70km/h No bi-directional operation No ATC expected SCADA, ITCS, PSIS and Control room: Passenger Information Displays (PID) at stations SCADA system has no active safety role CCTV at all stations and sections and in trains Control Center for normal and fall back operation 22

23 The Project and the System Specifications Rolling Stock Bi-directional vehicles 30-35m long, width: 2.65m 100% low floor No option for operating double units Capcity ~ seats (without folding chairs) and about standees (4 people/m² Depot, Control & Maintenance Centre: Workshop, Cleaning, Control Centre, Welfare facilities Outdoor stabling up to 35 vehicles Building meeting current (high) standards for industrial buildings 23
