The Whistledown Hotel overlooks Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Whistledown brides have had beau ful pictures taken on the beach with this magnificent backdrop. We are situated beside Warrenpoint Park with it s historic bandstand another great photo opportunity and any guests with young children have plenty to keep them amused. Guests are also able to take a stroll along the promenade and enjoy the view. The Whistledown hosts only one wedding per day so the bride and groom have our undivided a en on. We individualise each wedding and give it a personal touch. We offer a wide variety of menu choice to enable the bride and groom to select the perfect wedding meal. Food is cooked fresh on the day of the wedding by our team of experienced chefs. All food is silver served by professional silver service staff. We offer an extensive wine list Management and staff work hand in hand to ensure that from the moment the bride and groom steps through our doors they receive excellent service. There is a con nuity of staff. From the moment you decide to have your wedding in the Whistledown you will always be dealt with by the same person. The hotel bar is reserved for your wedding guests. Our func on room provides its own restroom facili es. The func on bar is contained within the wedding room. The bridal suite enjoys a fantas c view of Carlingford Lough. Our wedding couple can block book all bedrooms on request. Library area is ideal for photographs with the fairy-light backdrops and ornate interior - as is the bridal suite. Breakfast in bed is available on request. We have a separate smoking area situated in the hotel courtyard with superb panoramic views of the Lough. In the summer your guests are welcome to enjoy a drink on the outside pa o and soak up the view. A deposit of 1000 is required to secure your wedding date with all other monies not payable un l the morning a er the wedding.
