9 GREAT CONNECTIONS TO LONDON & BEYOND At Wye Dene, you may be in the heart of the glorious Buckinghamshire countryside but central London is less than 30 miles away to the South East. Ideal for London commuters, regular rail services whisk you directly in to London Marylebone Station in under half an hour. RAIL Within walking distance of Wye Dene, High Wycombe railway station runs direct Chiltern Railway trains to Marylebone station in as little as 29 minutes at peak times. Here you can connect to the London Tube network via the Bakerloo line for ongoing travel. The Central line can be picked up at South & West Ruislip stations providing a direct link to Wembley Stadium. Northbound, direct services to Birmingham take 1 hour 33 minutes while Oxford is reached via Banbury in 1 hour 6 minutes (a new, direct service to Oxford is planned to commence in 2016). ROAD Wye Dene enjoys excellent connections to the road network; just a mile along the A40 is High Wycombe town centre itself. Junctions 3 and 4 of the M40 are only 2 and 2.5 miles away respectively, conveniently connecting with Junction 16 of the M25 just eight miles further on. Northbound, the M40 offers fast access to the M1 (20 miles), Oxford (25 miles) and on to Birmingham. The M4 is only 13 miles away via the A404 for destinations westbound including Reading, Swindon and Bristol.
